Fantastic hotel, great location in the center. Nice staff and bedroom. The spa pool is small but nice. Breakfast was really good and the room really beautiful in the middle of the square. The rooms are big with nice tv, and good services. Staff was really kind full. Near to a fantastic shopping.

Nicely situated in proximity to shops, old town, museums.
You could walk to the castle, visit the bridges, eat in nice restaurants in walking distance.
The hotel itself is nice, with spacious rooms, rich breakfast ( not excellent in quality, especially breads and pastry, but you can definitely find good things to eat).
Pillows were a bit over used, too soft for my taste but duvets were clean for individual use, warm and comfortable.
The coffee machine in the room adds an extra luxury.
Personnel is very polite, good English , willing to help.
The spa with steam room and sauna is a nice way to relax.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to visitors in Prague.

Room Tip: Executive rooms allow you access to a lounge where you could relax and have something to drink and e...

Two of us were traveling back to Prague from the Philippines. I was a 21 year old accompanying my nearly 70 year old grandmother.

Before I start, don't expect this to be a totally luxurious 5-star hotel. It's a 5-star for sure, complete with the amenities and all, but it's not going to look like the Ritz inside. But it had everything my grandmother and I needed for our 2nd trip to Prague: central location, spacious room and bathroom, good breakfast every morning, car service, and friendly staff. And that I think is all you need when visiting such a beautiful city.

1) Central Location: The hotel is right beside Prague's Municipal Hall, and usually, when you're beside buildings like that, you know you're in a good area. And this hotel really was. I was able to walk to the Old Town Square, where the Astronomical Clock was, in just 4 minutes. And from there, just walk for another 4 or 5 minutes, and you're on the beautiful Charles Bridge. And to make things even more convenient, the hotel is opposite a huge shopping center, The Palladium.

2) Deluxe Room: We had only booked a deluxe room, but I did specify in our booking that I wanted a room with a big window, so the room would be brighter. We got room 105 and it was way more spacious than I had imagined. I browsed through several amateur/traveller photos of this hotel, and some deluxe rooms looked cramped and claustrophobic, albeit still modern and clean. We each had a single bed, which wasn't that much wide, but we fit well, and they were very comfortable. The room had 2 desks, one in front of the beds with the TV and another one near the large window (floor to ceiling size) right beside the sitting area (which had 2 cushioned chairs and a small table with the magazines/room service menu). And the bathroom wasn't bad either; had a separate bathtub and shower stall. Very clean.

3) Breakfast was very good in the morning. I'm not the pickiest when it comes to eating, like I am in no way a food connoisseur, but the breakfast had quite an array of Continental cuisine. From different types of bread to an assortment of fruits and vegetables, cold cuts, hot plates, and drinks (juices and coffee). We were always stuffed well to begin going around Prague, which will require a lot of energy as you walk almost all the time.

4) Car service: I was traveling with my 68 year old grandmother so of course, I would be in charge of carrying not only my own luggage, but hers as well. Prague was just the first stop on our itinerary so we didn't have small suitcases and I didn't want to have to drag all our luggage onto a bus or into the hotel, nor did I want my grandmother to arrive in a city she hasn't seen since 1981 (which was still Communist then) in a hassled fashion. We booked the hotel's car service for 35 euros per way, around 790 Kc if you will pay in cash (cash has a discount) for an E-class Mercedes or Audi of the same level. Car arrived on time and the driver was very polite.

5) Staff: The entire staff of the hotel, from our car driver to the waitstaff, is very friendly and attentive. Don't forget to tip them too!

The hotel isn't exactly that cheap, but that wouldn't stop me from recommending this, especially to first-timers who have more than enough to spend. Prague is such a beautiful city and entails a tiring walk around it, so it's good to return to a nice place for lodging.

Room Tip: You can pick our regular deluxe room: ROOM 105. Really surprisingly spacious. It won't have the...

We stayed in a executive suite for 5 nights. It was a very enjoyable stay. The room was large and well appointed. We stayed in room 321 which overlooked the road outside and the shopping centre. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and all staff greeted you if you passed them in the corridor.

Location makes this hotel desirable. Its located at the start of the pedestrian zone to start to discover amazing and some times confusing streets and wonders of the old town of Prague.
Thats why hotel gets pretty busy every where from lobby to breakfast, so expect some lines especially in Summer. Since it was old bank that went complete renovation into the hotel the rooms are small. We booked superior delux and it still basically fit the bed. Our room included use of lounge and vip room for breakfast which was nice so we didn't have to fight the crowds. Which was nice. Staff is very helpful and professional. Overall its good 4 star hotel definetly not five that charges 5star prices. I return to Prague regulary but i opt for other many hotels.

Room Tip: Facing the Municipal House are not as noisy as the ones facing the square

Dear Terka,

Thank you for sharing your feedback with other travellers. We are glad to hear you had a wonderful stay. We would like to inform you that our restaurant has been enlarged and it not only fits 18 more guests for breakfast, it has become more spacious and so our guests feel more comfortable and restaurant is less crowded.

Our Executive room are the usual size of a regular 5* hotel. If space is a priority, we recommend upgrading to one of our higher room categories (Junior Suite, Executive Suite and Royal Suite) where all of these provide extra space and comfort.

Once again we thank you for your comments and already look forward to your return.

With sincere regards,

Great experience. Wonderful staff. Hotel room was spacious and extremely quiet. Temperature in the room was comfortable, and we like it cold. :) The location is fantastic. It's right next to the Metro and a convenient shopping mall. It's far enough away from the touristy area so you don't feel smothered. However, it's easy to get to attractions with a short walk or Metro. Breakfast buffet was included and the food was delicious. It actually saved us a lot of money and hassle. We wish all of our hotels were as great and convenient as this one. Thank you. You made our trip a memorable one.

We have just come back from a three night stay in the hotel, As said previously like many others the location is excellent , breakfast is top-quality with a wide selection of food the service was impeccable, the Staff are very attentive and overall we have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Our room was on the fourth floor and was extremely quiet the bathroom was very nice the beds were extremely comfortable and we had no problem whatsoever with the Wi-Fi. For a city hotel you cannot possibly go wrong.
