This brand new hotel really is worth staying at. It's located right in the city centre, opposite the Palladium shopping store (very useful for stocking up on any food, health or beauty products you may need during your stay).

The lobby is clean and bright, and the reception staff extremely efficient. Despite our very early arrival, we still received a room within 30 minutes.

The room is fantastic, with a very comfortable bed and is equipped with all of the amenities that a 5* hotel should have.

The bathroom is excellent - spacious and light, with a separate rainfall shower and bath.

Room service, restaurant, bar and minibar all very reasonably priced.

I think that the only aspect which could be improved would be the customer service. Although the staff mean well, they are still working out the initial problems that a new hotel faces. I expect this to get better very quickly.

I would definitely stay again, and recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Prague.

I stayed here on a recommendation of a someone who lives in Prague. The hotel is clean, welcoming and still has the "new" building smell and look about it. All reception staff were friendly.
Breakfast was in the (m)EATING point restaraunt and was plentifull and very fresh with a good selection. Im not sure why, but the plates available at breakfast time are small, which means more than one visit to the buffet.
I ate dinner at the restaraunt and the food was lovely, tasty and good portion sizes. The cakes are very nice too. Very reasonable prices for a 5* hotel. I ate 3 courses and one large beer for 500ckr. Worth every penny.
The bedrooms are clean, and very comfortable beds. Bathroom marble with a fantsatic shower seperate to the bath.
Also liked the chocolates left on the pillow at night! The free internet was welcomed also!
Spa looked very clean and welcoming, and the pool looked inviting although I didnt have time to try it myself.
All in all a great hotel in a fantastic location in Prague. I will definately stay there when I go back to this beautifull city.

Although only taking in a spot as no. 117 on TripAdvisor's list of hotels in Prague at the time of booking we took the chance as the first reviews were very very positive - but there was only a few (as the hotel is BRAND new).

and we were not let down...

Location: The hotel is situated directly to the Repuplican Square - just opposite of Prague's largest mall - with appr. 200 shops/restaurants. It is literally just 50 m away. The main shopping street starts only 300-400 m away - so you could not ask for a better location if you are there for the shopping. The hotel is situated so absolutely central that all of downtown is within walking distance - main square is no more than 500 m away, etc.

Hotel: The building is a beautiful old Prague building that has been carefully restored. The reception area, restaurant and lobby bar are all very contemporary in their design with beautiful contemporary chandeliers, furniture, art, etc. This style is much more to our liking that a more traditional (like i.e. Marriott).

Room: Unfortunately an upgrade was not possible - but the room we had was fine. We were however quite disappointed with the "view" as our 2 windows were quite small and placed quite high. There was an OK view of the dome of the next door concert hall which was beautifully lit at night. The rest of the room is in same style as the hotel - contemporary - with stylish furnitures etc. All amenities (iron/ironing board, safe, kettle for tea/coffee, etc.) are there - and even WiFi is free of charge (with very good connection and speed). We were taken to the room by the bell boy - and given a tour of the room and amenities.

After a long day of travelling and exploring the city we decided to eat at the hotel and spend the evening in the room with a good movie - however the in-room entertainement system proved to be somewhat of a challenge. Only movies starting with A, B or C were available - and the inhouse technicians could not fix it. Apparently (we were told the next day) the system was not yet 100% fully installed - and the rest of the movies would be available within 1-2 weeks... Too bad. Despite a bit disappointed the hotel staff again proved to be uniquely service minded - and cancelled the fee (€13 for the full package).

The bathroom is beautiful as well - nice marble and seperate bath and shower (with 2 shower heads). The overall impression of the bathroom was good and all accessories are there - however there are 2 things that I need to comment - 1) The light... The light in the bathroom is quite powerful and bright - which is perfect when getting ready for dinner - but when stumpling to the toilet in the middle of the night you are completely blinded! Furthermore it was quite impossible to create a relaxing/cosy atmoshphere when taking a bath. Often you have a 2 stage light - or light dimmers - to adjust to your "needs". 2) The bath... I decided to take a bath after a long day of walking and a lot of fresh air - but the bath is simply too small. This is a common mistake in hotel rooms - however in this case it is not only short - but the bottom is leaning (down towards the drain) quite a lot - which has the unfortunate effect that in the head end of the bath the water is very shallow. I am not a big guy (180 cm) - but I could not cover more than 30% of my body in the bath - no matter what I did. Even when lying completely down (and my legs out of the water) the water was so shallow it could not even cover my chest/stomach (and I am not heavy either...). So my ambition of a nice relaxing bath was cut short... spent only 10 min. in there.

All in all the room was very nice - with a few minor disappointments (the biggest being the small windows). The decor is super - and the bed was really really nice - a genuine double bed (and not just to single beds pushed together!).

Restaurant: We decided to eat in the Meating Point restaurant on the first evening as were simply too tired to go out. The restaurant is public and has a nice cool stylish look. The staff were (again) super friendly (although a bit confused - but everything was handled with a smile and therefore forgiven immediately). The food was quite average to be honest - in my opinion a 5 star hotel with big ambitions should aspire to something more than what they have now. I am not asking for Michelin Star food - but a bit more upscale would be appropriate for the hotel. Breakfast was also served in the restaurant - buffet - and was complete and fresh. Only remark would be the yoghurts - that are placed in glass bowls with no cooling... Otherwise very nice - several different sorts of bread to choose from - from regular toast to dark rye bread.

Spa: We went to the spa and had the Thai Massage (60 min.). The spa staff was amazing - sooo sweet and all about service and making sure that you enjoyed your stay there. My wife and I really wanted to have the massage together - which was no problem - and the massage itself was good. These thai girls were not holding back - and the massage could be somewhat painful - but the effect - wauv!! I was feeling so good afterwards (although a bit sore). Afterwards we had some green tea in the lounge area - and I went to the sauna. Unfortunately the Finnish steam bath was broken - but the sauna was just fine (but they should put up a termometer...). We then both went into the swimming pool. The pool is fitted with a jet stream to create a current and making the pool endless. You can swim directly from the pool into the jacuzzi - a small mistake in my book. The water for a jacuzzi should always be nice and warm - but it had the same temperatur as the swimming pool - making you feel cold quite quickly. But all in all the spa is fantastic. There is also a small - but well equipped fitness room.

The final verdict for the hotel is that is certainly deserves the 5 stars - and with a correction of some minor issues this hotel could be absolutely amazing. I am sure they will fix many of them over the coming months - and I will be happy to return. My warmest recommendations all the way around - especially because of the very friendly and helpful staff...

My partner took me away to Prague for my birthday, and we were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful hotel. On first impressions it is very grand - and it doesn't disappoint.
The main foyer is decorated beautifully with wonderful chandeliers and artwork. The room itself was also excellent; quiet, clean, tidy, very comfortable bed.
Being a new hotel, we could understand when our breakfast in bed was not received one morning. Upon informing the staff, they were most apologetic and more than made it up to us.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and beautifully presented. The Czech wine was very nice too.
I cannot praise the staff more, they made our stay very enjoyable and we left with some very happy memories. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel opened the first night we stayed here. There were a few little niggles that you would expect from a newly opened hotel, but I'm sure these will be ironed out in the near future.

Firstly, the location is excellent - located opposite a metro station and a minutes walk from the minibus route to the airport; also 5 minutes walk to the main square in the old town. Its located in a very impressive and imposing building which I think used to be the Czech Chamber of Commerce. There were still some minor building works going on when we visited (i.e. pictures being put up etc.) but the hotel public areas and the rooms are extremely smart looking and modern - bathroom was particularly nice. Bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in.

We ate at the restaurant a couple of times, and the food was excellent and quite reasonably priced. Breakfast is included in the price and is the usual buffet, but the choice was extensive and of high quality. There is also a vodka bar, which looked great but we didn't get chance to have a drink there.

The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, perhaps to be expected for a newly opened hotel, but hopefully this will continue in future. The hotel was half empty due to the new opening and so we probably got more attention than usual. We had a few minor problems with the hot water and key passes to the room but these issues were quickly and politely dealt with, and we received complimentary wine and fruit on arrival.

Overall, this looks like it will become one of Prague's top hotels, and deserving of its potential 5-star standard. We got an extremely good rate due to the new opening, so hope we will be able to afford to stay here on our next trip to Prague.
