We stayed at this hotel over easter to spend some nice days in prague. The location is great for exploring the city. All the major sights of the city are within walking distance. Directly across the street is a large shopping center. Everything you need is very close by.

We alo very much liked the rooms in the hotel. Everything was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Especially the beds were extremely comfy!!! The rooms are also very sound-proof. We never heard anything from the rooms next to us, that were also occupied.

Unfortunately there was one downside. The breakfast was horrible. Very limited selection and the buffet was a mess at 9.00 in the mornings. There is not much offered and the quality is definitely not up to 5 star standard, I'd say not even to 3 star.
The staff in the restaurant was very rude. No one from the staff noticed when guests were looking for a free table. Used plated we removed from the table very slowly. They were also talking to each other in czech and laughing very loudly while serving the customers. The breakfast was really a horrible experience. Far away from 5 star.

I want to emphasize that only the staff in the restaurant was rude. The people at the reception as well as the housekeeping staff was very friendly and always willing to help.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, the place has its character though it is a modern hotel. Location is just so wonderful! The only thing I can comment on is the restaurant. It is too small! In a "full house" situation be ready to wait at least 10-15 min to get a seat for breakfast.

This hotel was all that I had come to expect from previous reviews - great location, very helpful staff, good rooms, etc.,etc.
The only criticsm that I could find was that I thought the restaurant very small for the size of the hotel. It was OK in May but at the height of the season I can envisage problems. The food however was worth waiting for.

Great location, best shower of any hotel, beautiful large room and very accomodating!!!!
We booked this hotel on a pre-paid internet special. We booked 8 nights in the executive suite and on the 5th night the Iceland volcano erupted closing down all airports in Europe and extending my stay for 12 nights. Hotel kept the same reasonable rate for the extra nights. Front desk folks were warm, helpful and compassionate. Good buffet breakfast or off the menu breakfast. Nice comfortable bar with good cocktails. Car/limo service from hotel., Hell, they even were going to drive me to Rome to catch a plane at an open airport. Highly recommended if you absolutely have to go toPrague.

Beautiful new hotel, rooms are very nice size, very confortable bed, ample bathrooms. Need to work on service quality at front desk and for rooms. Did only get 1 toilet soap bar per room,we had 2 rooms. Had to call after 2 days to get a second soap. Front desk very friendly but inexperienced, not a lot of knowledge about restaurant locations and when attractions were open or where located. Breakfast is ok. Asked for room service, not par with hotel rating....

Stayed here for 2 nights between Xmas and New Year 2009 on a romantic city break with my husband and my sister and her husband. We have very different taste in hotels to my sister and her husband - we like more traditional and they like ultra-modern so looked for ages to find a hotel that suited both tastes and came up with the Kings Court. Its in a beautiful old building that has been very sympathetically rennovated to a very high standard and still retains its character. Beautifully decorated with gorgeous Swarovski-style chandeliers and lamps throughout the hotel. Decor is modern but tasteful - no Ikea here! Rooms were extremely clean and decor very nice/neutral (its a brand new hotel so everything was new) and the bathroom was amazing! Had a bath and a huge walk-in shower big enough to fit 2 which had 2 types of shower heads - the rain one was superb! Beautifully tiled and expensive-looking fittings. Bathrobes and slippers are included although we had none when we arrived - phoned down to reception and within 10 mins housekeeping brought us robes and slippers so can't complain about the service. Lovely toiletries which were replaced both days. Chocs on pillow - nice. Our rooms were on the 4th floor and we had a much bigger room than my sister and her hubby but both rooms faced Republic Square and were decorated exactly the same. The windows are quite high up so I had to stand on a chair to see out but the view was worth it. It took us about 5 mins to walk to the Old Town Square and the Powder Tower is right around the corner of the hotel so its very central. There is a supermarket right across the square and a lovely indoor shopping centre. The buffet breakfast was excellent with everything you could possibly want, hot and cold - you'd have to be very fussy not to find something you liked. Service was very good with a member of staff organising seating as you walked in who was very efficient. Staff were attentive and brought coffee quickly and replaced it as soon as they were asked despite the restaurant being very busy. Breakfast is also served at the other side of the hotel in the bar area but we chose to wait the second morning for a table as we preferred the atmosphere in the main restaurant. We arrived a little early and our rooms weren't ready but were offered complimentary drinks while we waited. Concierge very attentive and took cases up to our rooms. All in all, this is a lovely hotel with beautiful decor, attentive staff and in a superb location - what more could you want? Didn't use the fitness centre or pool so can't comment on those. PS, Prague is STUNNING at Xmas and the tree in the Old Town Square is the most beautiful I have seen anywhere! Apart from breakfast, we didn't eat in the hotel but try our favourite Italian restaurant - Ambiente Pasta Fresca, Celetna 11, just near the hotel - we've been there 3 times and the food is gorgeous.
