We happened in on this place in the middle of the afternoon, so there wasn't the formal show happening, and it operated like your average pub. However, all staff were in medieval garb, and were very much in character, so that was practically a show in itself. It is not a huge space, so if there's just two of you, and you're sitting at a table for 8, don't be surprised if they seat some people at your table.
We didn't order food, but the people I was with said that their home brew was in the top three beers that they'd *ever* had. So, if you like a darker beer, definitely order a glass.
