Traveled here for a midweek break and was pleasantly surprised by the value for money.

The hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk from the Charles Bridge which links to all the main things to do in Prague. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are more than adequate for a pair of travelers. Staff at the hotel are first class and cannot do enough to help.

A real bargain hotel which works well because it is far away from all the noise and tourist attractions, but still close enough to not need a taxi.

Booked 2 rooms here, and enjoyed everything in this hotel.
Clean and nicely decorated rooms.
Very friendly and helpful staffs.
Since we have to leave early in the morning, the reception offered us a breakfast pack, or better,
they will ask the kitchen to open half an hour earlier to cater the breakfast !!!.
Public transport within walking distance.
One small glitch, parking could be a problem, since the hotel does not have own parking place.

I recently stayed at this hotel from 8th July for 5 nights, and I was very impressed. This was my 8th time in Prague, and I have stayed at a range of hotels, from 2/3 star right through to the 5* Hilton Prague.

This hotel was probably the best value for money I have seen in Prague. The hotel is immaculate throughout, and our room was cleaned thoroughly every day! No easy task with 3 males in a room.

Free WIFI on every single floor! Brilliant bonus.

The aircon in the rooms was brilliant at night, and meant we could keep the windows shut and stay cool. We were in room 204 I think, overlooking the main road and the park, but we never had any noise or traffic issues at all.

Breakfast was filling, and there was a wide range available, from hot to cold items. The staff were attentive and helpful, and kept all items fully stocked all the way through to closing time.

It was maybe a 10/15 minute walk to Charles Bridge depending on how much we ate for breakfast, and plenty of coffee shops and bars nearby.

I always prefer to stay in Mala Strana, rather than the Old Town square side of the bridge, as you are away from the hustle and bustle, but it is all easily reached by foot.

Thanks for a brilliant stay, coming back in Decemeber and will be staying here!! I cannot suggest this hotel highly enough.

Stayed at The Red and Blue Design Hotel for four nights, staff were fantastic always said hello and goodbye and when we asked about sending postcards they offered to send them for us!!
They let us borrow a travel adaptor as ours didn't fit their sockets. The room was clean and very quiet and the hotel was a great base to explore the wonderful city of Prague.
We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone!!

Stayed a week in this great hotel, excellent value for money, great location, very quiet and the rooms were lovely!!!! Its a great place to stay if you want something small, neat and modern! Staff were very friendly and helpful when recommending places to eat or visit and they always showed your the location on a map and the best way to get there.

Will definately be staying here again when we visit the most amazing City ever!!!

Room Tip: ask for a room on the South side of the hotel

Very nice, design and clean. Possibility to go by footh to the center and takes approximately 15 minutes. I recommanded it ! We were in a blue room. which was very nice and quiet. Possibility to go to the center but also to the other way near some other shops, restaurants and commercial center.

We chose this as our base for a 4-day weekend exploring Prague, and it couldn't have been better.

Location: reasonably central. It is possible to walk everywhere from here, but a better option is to figure out how to use the efficient and frequent tram system. Front desk staff can explain how it works, and they can sell you tickets (which are very inexpensive). There is also a Metro station about 15 mins walk away - which is a good and inexpensive way to get back to the airport (metro followed by airport bus costs a little over £1!)

Room: very comfortable. I always appreciate having a kettle. Nice view from the front-facing rooms over the park opposite.

Breakfast: excellent selection, and good value for an inclusive breakfast. Nice outdoor patio area to enjoy a relaxed start to the day.

Staff: really helpful. For example, no problem looking after our luggage after check-out time.

About the only criticism is that the bar is a little cold in character and doesn't attract much custom... but there are plenty of more lively bars a short walk away.

Room Tip: Front-facing rooms have a nice view
