We had an early midweek dinner here and found it most enjoyable. It’s a quaint small establishment with a lot of memorabilia on the walls which gives it its charm and provides for a nice atmosphere. They play background music which when we went was Edif Piaf followed by some bluesy swing although not to everyone tastes it I like it a lot.
Food is Czech/International and was good. We particularly liked the starters - my wife had goats cheese on a bed of roasted veg whist I had duck liver in a rich fruity sauce both excellent and well presented and served with bread. The main courses were both good Stroganoff and Rabbit. We didn’t try a dessert as we were too full. The menu selection for each course was varied. The waiter was friendly although his command of English is limited but then again, we are in Prague so why should he speak any English? So not an issue as as far as we were concerned. Overall a very good restaurant which we would be happy to eat again.
