“Very nice, will be back again!”
Reviewed 31 August 2011

We stayed at the Hotel Clement from 26th August for a friend's wedding, the location was great- very central and within easy reach of town square/Jewish quarter/Wenceslas Square etc. The room itself was clean, with all basic facilities and the staff were all very friendly.

My only complaints (and they are small ones) would be that the shower is ridiculously positioned, there was no way of taking a shower without turning it off for each application of shampoo/shower gel etc as it is stuck on the middle of the wall, and the shower screen doesn't reach this far. I did manage to completely flood the bathroom (about an inch of water deep, all over the floor!) and had to spend 25 minutes mopping it up with the bath mat! The pillows were rather odd, quite uncomfortably large and floppy- we created a makeshift bolster pillow out of the quilt, but I'm sure had we asked for extra pillows they would have been provided.

All in all, a good experience and if we were to visit Prague again we'd be back to Hotel Clement!

Room Tip: Beware the shower!

Our travel agent found this hotel for us and booked it for our 5 day stay in Prague. We were very happy with this hotel. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Namesti Republiky Metro stop and about 2 blocks from the river. The room was large, clean and modern. The staff are friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is super and provided a great variety of choices. The hotel met all of our expectations and I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in fabulous Prague.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in July and would highly recommend this hotel. It is on a quiet street, but located close to Old Town Square (only 10 minutes walk). All the staff were friendly and helpful. On my birthday they surprised me by leaving a bottle of wine in our room! The breakfast was very good with lots of healthy choices. We asked for a quiet room and we were not disappointed. I have already recommended this hotel to several people and we will be staying at Hotel Clement again on our next trip to Prague.

Room Tip: Room 202 was quiet, very light, looked onto street but could not hear any noise

Hotel Clement was a little off the beaten path but the hotel was clean and the staff helpful. Prague is a walking city, so we walked everywhere. Had problem locating where to purchase tram tickets. Hotel was out, and the tobacco shop wouldn't/didn't sell them, so we walked. The price of the room included a great breakfast. We had a few minor issues (TV and telephone) but the staff responded very quickly to fix the problems.

We stayed in this hotel for a longer weekend and it far exceeded our expectations! The Location is very convenient, in a quiet street and some 10 - 12 minutes walk from the Old town Square. A huge new shopping mall is also very close. The room was spatious, clean and cozy, we appreciated the staff that treated us very well and on friendly terms. The breakfast is simple, but very ok. The hotel has a family like atmosphere. Am going to recommend it to friends and will for sure stay there again when I have a next chance to visit the beautiful city of Prague!

I was quite disapointed from the hotel ; the stuff was always kind but to my opinion very young and unprofessional. Me & my friend talked for at least 3 days with more than one person from the stuff that we would like to go on Saturday the 2nd July to Karlovy Vary just to see this beautiful place and maybe to enjoy a SPA there...we asked for schedule of buses and they told us. However, when we gladly woke up on Saturday, went down to the loby and asked the lady there ( which was the first time we saw her , but SHE was professional ) the way to the bus station to catch one of the morning bus , she immediately asked us if we have tickets already? we said no. and she said we won't get to this place by bus since there is the International Film Festival and for sure the buses are full , even 2-3 days before! why no one at the hotel told us about this? why they didn't tell us to buy tickets for the bus in advance? all our plans for this day , our last day in Prague were ruined. we were very upset.
Also, the room we received was very small for 2 adults with luggage for 5 days and it contained the "minimum". The breakfast , after 3 days ( the same ) was poor, to my opinion. I have stayed in many 4 stars hotels in Europe and I have to say I palnned this stay according to the reviwes and I was disapointed.

Room Tip: unfortunately , I wasn't lucky
