“a nice place and not bad value for location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2014

Stayed here for one night last night. Actually the room was like a little apartment which was good as one would have the option to cook for one's self. Bedroom was nice as was bathroom. Generally the hotel was nice and clean and the staff were nice. Breakfast I thought was quite good and in a lovely airy room. I would go back again to this place and would recommend. I think that considering the location (2 mins from Old Town Square) this hotel represents good value for money.

We had three nights at this apartment type hotel which was right down in the centre of the old city
Because we were driving, we had difficulty locating the hotel because the GPS shows where the hotel street starts which is across the square from where the street actually is. So after much difficulty and directions from the police we finally found it. So it would be good if very precise directions were available as there are so many pedestrian only streets and one way streets.
Once there, we had an amazing stay and found the people at the front desk so very helpful. There is no air conditioning in many rooms and do not get a room that overlooks the main street because
Of the noise late into the night and if you close the windows to shut out the noise, the room is extremely hot in the hot weather - which we had and had to ask for a fan.

Room Tip: Get a room with air conditioning and not overlooking the street the hotel is situated on due to exce...

As soon as you arrive from the airport and dropped off by taxi. You know you're in a good location. less than 2 minutes from the old town square and easy access to the city center

The hotel itself is pretty average. We booked an attic suite for 4 adults (all male), so requested 4 separate beds. Upon arrival we were given our room key only to find out that the room was a small double en suite. When we went down to reception, the receptionist denied that our attic suite booking existed. She was quite helpful though and eventually managed to get the manager to prepare us an attic suite.

The suite itself was on the 5th floor, only accessible by a very old and very dusty staircase or a quite dangerous service lift. The attic suite was ok, plenty of space. 2 rooms with twin beds, 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen, living space with tv and a balcony.

the balcony had great views over the rooftops of the old square, but there was only 1 chair on it. Real shame as it was perfect weather to sit out and relax. Also static shocks build up on the balcony railings every few minutes!

The rooms were ok, had twin single beds, bedside tables and a wardrobe. Our sheets and towels were not changed over the 3 days we we were there. The rooms had air con as well, but when its 30 degrees outside they were not sufficient.

Overall the hotel was ok but the location was the real highlight. we never had breakfast at the hotel and there didnt appear to be a place to buy lunch/dinner

Dear client,

Thank you for your review! I am delighted to hear you have enjoyed our location and friendly service from our team!

The proximity of our hotel to local attraction is amazing! I am surprised about the towels that they weren't changed because in our policy is a change every day.

Thank you again and look forward to welcome you back at our Residence Leon d'Oro.
Kind Regards
Eric

This hotel was awesome! My girlfriends and I went to Prague for my birthday. The hotel is beautiful, clean and staff were great - very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were like apartments and we joked that we could live there forever! ( But we could have). The apartments were spacious and gorgeous decor. My cousin had TWO balconies, we had one - still fantastic - with an absolutely magnificent panoramic view of the city!! We woke up every morning and would go outside and be like WOWWWWWW!!!

Great location too! Right in the centre of the bars/restaurants etc etc.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and when I return to PRAHA I will be staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay in Prague. The hotel has a beautiful dining area where they have a breakfast buffet. Lovely fresh breakfast catering to all tastes. The beds were comfortable and the rooms and bathroom very clean. We were in a large room that had a third bed (couch) for our granddaughter. We were in 111 and at times you could hear the water pipes squeaking. The overall experience was good, but it could be a little noisy at times. Not enough to keep me from staying there again or from recommending it to others.

Room Tip: The higher floors might have less noise but the location is great. Close to everything, and lots of...

This i s a small hotell in the "middle" of the old town in Prague. Perfect location avay from the trafic and close to "everything".
We were lucky to get a room on the highest floor having a big balcony facing the old town = lovely view (probably one of the better from a hotel i Prague), but there is always a but, if you have a room on the lover floors you will not have this wiev.
We are a family of five and we had plenty of space. Three rooms in two flores, meaning that there is a staircase (a little steep). The hotel is not a five star hotel and the standard of the room is accordingly... Still nice beds, quiet (no noice from traffic or neighbours), cooking possibility, two bathrooms and tidy ads on a few +++++.
We had a nice stay!

Room Tip: Rooms 500 something are on the top flor and the ones facing the old town having a lovely wiev. I gue...
