actually surprisingly good! there were three tables to sit outside, though the menu was entirely in czech the waitress was very helpful in helping us decide. Very well priced lunch of good pizza and kebab near the shopping centre!

“Looks do deceive. Avoid it.”
Reviewed 13 November 2010

It looked allright to begin with untill we realised that beer was somewhat overpriced by Prague standards. Of course that alone would not ruin us so we stayed for another. The whole thing started as we asked for the bill. We got the bill promptly. But then the barmaid decided to take a break. She sat down to eat in the back of the restaurant together with the cook. We thought, OK, let us wait a while, she will sooner or later realize that we are ready to pay up and leave. We placed a money bill together with the bill on the counter and waited. Some 5-10 minutes later she took a walk around the place collected some plates from other tables, entered the bar area and did some things there totally ignoring us (did she expect us to leave without getting a change that would leave roughly 60% tip? We will never know.). Astounded at this absurd behaviour, rude even by somewhat lax service attitudes you often encounter in Czech Republic, we sat at the bar for a little while longer before walking up to the table and confronting the barmaid with the fact that we want to pay up and leave.
Eventually she came over to the bar and while giving us a change kept on mumbling about how tired she was, that she hadn't eaten all day and that she never gets a break. As we can see it, these are issues she should discuss with her boss or eventually trade union not customers. Basically she tried to place guilt for her poor working conditions on us. It did not ruin our day but it certainly made this our worst experience in Prague so far. Avoid this place, there are plenty of others around with way more fair service.
