Made the mistake of booking the 3 hour boat tour "Prague by Night" including a buffet and welcome drink. Holy crap... That's 3 hours of my life I'll never get back.

The welcome drink was a shot of what I presume was some kind of vodka, the buffet was inedible and the "tour" consisted of the boat going back and forth perphaps 700 or 800 meters across the canal. Yup, you read it right. Atleast I got a good look of Charles Bridge. Like 6 times... (At one point me and my company seriously considered making a run for it, jumping from the boat onto the dock. To bad we chickened out, would have saved us 1 1/2 hour of misery.)

Complete ripoff and tourist trap. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Only plus was a very kind and friendly waitress who also spoke impeccable english. She did a good job. Thank heaven for small mercies...

We went on two tours offered by this company (which was a big mistake in the first place) - the Prague by Night Tour and the Communist Walking Tour, and both were not terrible but definitely were not worth the cost, nor did they even remotely live up to the descriptions that were listed in their brochure (do not be deceived by their brochure).

The Prague by Night Tour says that includes walking and bus, but really only takes you to this one Exhibition Center where you watch an overly long fountain show for about 1 or 1.5 of the 2 hour tour, then spend the rest of the time on the bus listening to the tour guide talk (apparently the "walking" aspect was referring to the walk from the bus in the parking lot to the seats at the show).

The Communist Walking Tour was literally only me and my friend, and our tour guide was friendly but seemed to lack any sort of plan or route for the tour, and instead of focusing on communist history focused also on other aspects of modern-day Prague (interesting but again, not quite worth the price we paid).

We mistakenly booked these tours through our hotel (The Crowne Plaza - do not trust their concierge on their tours) and regret it.

You're much better off going to the sites yourself.

After about an hour of trying to find Gray line shuttle service, we found where they are located, on the internet: small counter in the parking garage with a 20cm by 20cm sign, waited for another 30 minutes for a driver to arrive. No one knew them - Not impressed. They were recommended by Viator.

Avoid! The buffet is inedible, the "jazz band" is three men that sound like they were found in a subway somewhere, the "professional guide" speaks no English (or German, only Czech) and it is way more expensive than "jazz boat" which is what we thought we had booked. The transfer was terrifying - breakneck speed through the streets of Prague in the pouring rain. To be avoided at all costs.

This was a horrible experience, from the hotel pick up where we feared for our lives as the driver drove through the pouring rain at breakneck speed, to the ancient decrepit boat and inedible buffet, to the three jazz "musicians" theat sound like they were found in a subway somewhere. The only redeeming feature is that Prague is very pretty from the river - not something this establishment can take any credit for. Please also note that the "tour guide" speaks only Czech: no English or even German.
