Description: Amade is in the heart of the old city of Prague in a superbly renovated baroque "Pachta" palace. The restaurant's name suggests a connection to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Amade being his nickname), who used to spent time in this palace during his visits to Prague. The Amade cuisine is as intriguing and unique as Mozart's music.Visit us for an impressive culinary experience, be it a multi course meal or just a coffee and an amazing plum pie. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the Charles Bridge in a private setting, whether you come for a VIP business lunch or a candlelit romantic dinner. To complement our a la carte menu, we also offer breakfasts and daily lunch menus for a very modest price.Contact us if you would like to book the restaurant for private parties, catering or gift certificates.

“We loved it!”
Reviewed 2 June 2014 via mobile

It was one of the best meals we had during our trip in Prague. We tried two of the traditional Czech dishes and the food was so good. The staff (esp. Peter) were very friendly as well, which was a great addition to the good meal. Highly recommend it!

“Wedding event 23.5”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

We had our wedding at the Amade restaurant on 23.5 , at the evening of the wedding itself .

The event was for 50 guests .
Some points that would have been helpful for me before the event :

The manager was open for almost every our suggestion and wish .
We set the menu using one of the restaurant menus with some small changes .
We had alcohol , drinks and hot drinks added to the menu .
We used our own playlist and music during the evening . Connected a lap top to the restaurant sound system , using phones in .
We had a dance floor set in the restaurant .

Two of the mangers were very helpful and professional - both Jan and Pieter. Assured us along all the way that everything is set and ok .
The staff was very professional .
The food was great , all the guests enjoyed it a lot especially the flank steak .

Thanks a lot for a perfect evening ,

“Quite a surprise”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

On the way from a fantastic experience in the Hemingway Bar (located at the same street) we strolled towards the bridge and looked into thee window of Amade Restaurant. The interior looked OK and the meny also looked pleasant. A friendly waiter convinced us to test this place.
We had lamb chops with potato filled in filo and under the traditional Czech menu we found a veal schnitzel with onion potatoes and cucumber salad.
The red wine wine served by the glas was a Czech Merlot that looked price-worthy.
To our satisfaction, both the lamb and the veal was far above expectations, as was the wine. The service was also to our satisfaction, so all in all this was one of the relatively few occasions where you leave the restaurant with a nice surprise smile in your face! Highly recommended!
