Before I write this review, I have to say my favourite food of all time is Curry.
I live to eat curry.
This curry house was chosen by me because of the reviews.
This restaurant was easy to find...... just off Muzuem Metro, use the underpass to get to the other side......as the road is too busy to cross.
We arrived after 7pm Saturday and only one other table was occupied, we didnt book so I was happy if wasnt full.
But after 20 minutes a table of 14 arrived we so glad to get our order in before them lol
The restaurant didnt look Indian but more like a pub but with the indian music playing it was ok.
The waitress Denisa was the most pleasant person I met in Prague....her English was excellent and we felt so welcomed.
We had chicken Jalfrezi and chicken dansak with jeera rice and garlic nan.
Service was prompt and the food looked amazing.
The portions were adequate. Actually one rice could have served two.
The meat was fresh and it melted in the mouth.
The curry wasnt oily either.
I found the flavours a little too subtle for me but it could be after eating so many hot curries I can no longer detect the flavours of the spices anymore.
The nan was the biggest I have seen although it was a bit on the dry side.
The rice was ok.
At no time did I feel rushed, the atmosphere was so relaxed.
We had a good nite and a reasonably priced good curry, not the best I ever had however.....................
