Owner description: PAVEL'S PERSONAL PRAGUE TOUR. Daily at 11 a.m. Duration: 4 hours - all historic quarters - finger food & 0.5 L beer will be served - visit of the unique 12 century underground palace With many years of tour guiding experience under my belt and with a deep passion for Prague *I specialize in giving walking tours of the historical centre of Prague from a local and personal perspective. My tour last about 4 hours and we take in all the historical quarters of Prague. The wonderful OLD TOWN, the mysterious JEWISH QUARTER, the charming LESSER TOWN and the magnificent HRADCANY TOWN & PRAGUE CASTLE. On our way we also cross the gothic CHARLES BRIDGE. My groups are small, an average of just 6 people which allows really good personal communication. Our tour finishes in the oldest palace in Prague with a fantastic 12th century underground ! In the end you will be served finger food & 0.5L beer. I may even play live guitar songs for you. With warm greetings from Pavel

“Great tour - worth it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 June 2014

Great tour led by Katerina! Started around 10:45am and lasted until 2pm, with a 30 minute break at a Czech restaurant around noon.
Takes you around all of the main attractions in Prague and gives you a nice, brief history of the city. Doesn't actually take you inside of any of the buildings you go to, so if you want to see inside you have to make a trip back on your own. Also, does not take you up to the castle so that's another tour or excursion you'll have to work out separately.
Katerina was super nice, very knowledgeable, and super laid back. Easy to talk to, and fun to listen to her Bulgarian accent :-)
This tour is worthwhile, especially when first arriving in Prague.
PS, it's another one of those "free" tours in which you're guilt tripped into a tip at the end. Katerina definitely deserved the tip because she did an incredible job....but just know it's not particularly free.

“An Absolute Must!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014

This was the first time I have done a free walking tour and it was awesome! Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate. It is a great way to get to know the city and learn the history. I would highly recommend putting this on the top of your to do list as soon as you get to Prague (or any city for that matter). Although it is "free" it is really a tip based tour so don't forget to tip!

“Character and feeling”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2014

Pavel is a great character who is very knowledgeable and has a deep feeling for his country. We took two tours. The morning tour (11am - 2.5 hrs) - Discover Prague - went to all the significant sites around the old city and Pavel provided a very good historical context for all points of the walk. The afternoon tour (2.30pm - 2.5hrs) - Castle Tour - was a very relaxing walk around the grounds of the castle. Whilst you do see and hear much about the buildings and gardens, keep in mind that entry into the castle and other buildings is not included (and not needed for this excellent tour). Pavel's personal appreciation of Prague and the Czech Republic goes a long way to making this tour very meaningful. Like all "Free" tours, you should pay a "donation" of whatever you think it's worth. Comparing these tours with others we have taken, we would say 5-10 Euros is fair.

“Great Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2014

My friend and I didn't have much time to spend in Prague and therefore we decided to get to know the city in this way. Our guide was Chris and I couldnt't imagine a better way to discover the city. First of all, the tour was very informative and Chris really knew what he was talking about. But despite all the thorough information, he managed to do it in a very fun and entertaining way. You walk to all the important places and monuments and feel like you haven't missed anything. Moreover, Chris was very caring and even had sunscreen for the whole group. It was a nice and personal atmosphere so that you really felt welcome. The participants came from all over the world and age doesn't matter. It is very helpful to get some further information to all the buildings and the history of this country is incredible and therefore very interesting.
I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Prague, no matter how old you are or where your are from (the English was very well and easy to understand!)
I do not have anything negative to say.
Thank you for the awesome tour and keep doing it!
