Deciding not to eat breakfast at the hotel (was a bit pricey) we wandered down the hill to start our day looking at the Church of St. Nicholas and noticed a sign out the front of this restaurant advertising breakfast (tourist trap? perhaps). Thought we would give it a shot. Coffee was great, service was good (don't expect grand service or a smile in Prague, it's not in their culture, but that is okay with me. As long as the food is good or better, price is ok, the place is clean and service is within good time and the staff aren't rude, don't expect servers to suck up to you - it doesn't really happen many places anyway). A little bit pricey but still about half the price of the hotel. Ordered a cheese omelette which comes with bread, jam and butter and a salad and my husband ordered the baltic breakfast. An omelette is an omelette (except when it's not). My husbands dish was very good also. Recommend.
