Good: Spacious, clean rooms. Staff very helpful. Quite close to metro and tram. About 10-15 mins walk to Wenceslas square. Shop next door is quite handy for supplies. Location not central to historical sites but not too far from public transport to get around city. Good/free Wi-fi.
Bad:Decor is a bit too Grim, dark and dingy, but very clean I hasten to add. View from my room was awful. Lifts stop between floors so luggage needs hauling on stairs. Breakfast bar was very strange with curried veg and greasy variations of sausage meat. Could have done better with decent fried eggs, bacon, sausage and toast. Breakfast bar in basement, quite unfriendly.
Most annoying thing was lack of tea/coffee making facility in room. Breakfast bar is closed after certain time in the morning. So, if you are desperate for a cup of tea/coffee, the next best option is Starbucks situated near the metro station.
Another annoying feature in the room was dressing table and mirror placed at two ends of the room. I had to use the hair dryer in the socket provided in the shower enclosure and a small mirror used for shaving instead to dry my hair because no power socket near mirror in room. Had to place makeup on floor near mirror for convenience.
