This restaurant was recommended by a local friend and it did not disappoint. It was surrounded by two terrace areas that would be perfect for warm weather dining, but since we were there in October, we ate inside. There was a cozy feeling about the place, with a wood burning brick oven in the center of the room. The wait staff was very friendly (in fact, we did not realize that cards were not accepted and the waiter allowed us to eat without paying and to go back the next night to pay!). The food was delicious....pork ribs, local dishes, great soup. Open noon to 11 p.m. We will go back!

We were 14 celebrating 20 years of friendship at this resturant. Our segway guide recommended the place. We took the rail lift up and had a fantastic evening on the terrace with amazing views over prague. The food was delicious and the service spot on. Very good price. Cost of taxi down varried considerably but still cheap compared to many cities.

I love this restaurant. The food is great and the views over Prague are amazing. The terrace is perfect for summer and the atmosphere indoors during winter is great too - really cosy. As others have mentioned, it takes a bit of effort to find the restaurant, but it's definitely worth it. The walk up the hill isn't too steep and the path is in a good condition, but there are steps, so if accessibility is an issue, check out the option of taking the cable car.

Visited on a Wednesday evening. Had popped in earlier on in the day and reserved a table on the terrace. It was ready for us when we arrived. Excellent views over Prague Castle and across the river. My three friends had goulash soup and steak, I had chicken with potato and cucumber. Food was really tasty. For all this, including a bottle of very nice wine was about 50 dollars. Would definitely recommend. Also indoor the decor was lovely, with a big wood fire. Waiters attentive. Book a window table or a terrace at the wall for a lovely dining experience.
