We found this restaurant near our hotel by chance. The food was OK but nothing special. We thought the prices were rather high, and on other nights found better food for a similar price or less.

We were staying in a nearby apartment and looking for a healthy alternative to Czech food without the inflated prices of continental cuisine. A perfect find! The menu was varied with lots of healthy grilled meats and fresh vegetables in a city known for potatoes and dumplings. The service by brothers Peter and Paul was excellent (yes, we went two nights in a row), so attentive and courteous, we even learned some Czech. The location was quiet yet travelled by neighborhood folks taking their evening stroll. I would definitely come back...in fact I did! Enjoy without splurging on good healthy food!

Our flight was cancelled at short notice and we had already checked out of the original hotel we stayed at so this place was recommended to us. Luckily they were able to offer us an apartment for one night only which is what we needed. This is a stunning old building near the Charles Bridge. The rooms are very large and tastefully furnished. There was a very large living room with TV, a bedroom and a bathroom. We were very comfortable.

We were served breakfast in the restaurant downstairs which was plentiful and made to order. We were made to feel very welcome.

The cafe tables by the square on Kampa Island are ideally situated for people watching. We chose to eat here because it was convenient to our hotel, and it was ok. I wouldn't have made an effort to seek it out, however.
