We arrived at this place shortly before 10pm on a Friday night. The waiter seemed bemused by our arrival and altogether perplexed at the idea that we might want some food. The poppadoms and starters were good and the mains were acceptable but the portions of meat were ungenerous, our various curries (jalfrezi, madras, balti) all looked suspiciously similar, and the peshwari naan didn't arrive until after everything else had already been eaten. The food was edible enough, but not really anything better than what you'd get out of a jar back home. Just the usual kind of half-hearted fare from a restaurant in a tourist hotspot where they don't really have to try because people will roll in off the street no matter what they serve up.

My partner and i were the only people in restaurant but we got no welcome at the door. The tableclothes were very dirty.. the waiter was very scruffy in jeans and t-shirt. The food was like nothing i have ever had in an Indian Restaurant..more like frozen meal heated in micro. Very disappointing. Never again.

My partner and I visited Prague for the first time this year and as such we used the trip advisor reviews for different things. The Bengal Tiger had very good reviews and we decided to try it for ourselves. Our experience was nothing like the reviews we had read and we were both very disappointed especially being great curry lovers!

We ordered two different types of curry, yet both looked and tasted the same the only difference being that one dish had 'one' potato in it whilst the other had fresh slices of tomato scattered on the top. The sauce was watery and although slightly spicy it was relatively mild. I don't mind paying for quality and a good service but I did feel I had been cheated as the food was not great and the service was shoddy.

The service we received was shocking, we were greeted by a chap who looked liked he had been 'roped in' last minute to help out, of course this could well have been the case and if so, he did not do the restaurant any favours. In between bringing us our drinks, he kept popping outside to talk on the telephone? We waited for a good 15minutes for our drinks and starter meal, which I might add when received it was Luke warm!! Very shoddy service and not great food, sorry Bengal Tiger but you need to step up your game

When we stumbled on this restaurant on our way to old town, we were not impressed by the looks of it or the menu displayed outside, but still decided to take a chance and went there for dinner one day. On seeing the real menu book, we were blown away by the the choices offered and the variety that I haven't seen in any Indian restaurant before. The food was authentic and close to home cooking and very flavorful with each dish to the appropriate spice level and nothing toned down to accommodate the taste buds of non-spicy food lovers. The rotis (Indian flatbread) were freshly made and served to us straight from the pan to table just like we do at home, piping hot and soft!
We enjoyed the food so much that we went back for dinner the very next day. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food offered. We were treated to some dishes that we don't normally find at the standard Indian restaurant. The flavour of the dishes was excellent, and best of all there was some really nice heat to the spicy dishes. We would recommend this restaurant!
