We arrived at this place shortly before 10pm on a Friday night. The waiter seemed bemused by our arrival and altogether perplexed at the idea that we might want some food. The poppadoms and starters were good and the mains were acceptable but the portions of meat were ungenerous, our various curries (jalfrezi, madras, balti) all looked suspiciously similar, and the peshwari naan didn't arrive until after everything else had already been eaten. The food was edible enough, but not really anything better than what you'd get out of a jar back home. Just the usual kind of half-hearted fare from a restaurant in a tourist hotspot where they don't really have to try because people will roll in off the street no matter what they serve up.
