Good:
Near to Praha station and town hall as well.
Neat and clean on day 01.
Good Heating.

Bad:
Room service was terrible.
No clean towel on 2nd day.
No soap and shampoo on 2nd day.
Room service didn't even bothered to change water glass which we left half filled, and also crust over my pillow were as it is.
No view from window. (Only Roofs from neighboring building what we could see from our windows)

We stayed in Zlata Vlaha hotel 3 nights in mid-February 2014 and it was a very pleasant stay. We asked for a room not facing the tram and it was exactly what we got and even more as we booked double and got 4 ppl room just for us two! There were some works performed in the entrance (restaurant?) and in the patio but they did not bother at all.
The hotel is situated very close to the Old Town. The breakfast was included in the price and even though there was not much variety day by day it was pretty enough to start our day with full energy. I recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a nice stay for a couple of nights, in the very heart of Prague and who doesn't want to spend a lot of money! Totally worth it.

Room Tip: Ask for the room with windows not facing the tram track or with the view on the backyard.

Looking at reviews that the Trams make a hell lot of noise and shake the whole building as they pass by, I didnt feel that it will be that bad as reviewers have stated. I was wrong, even though my room overlooked the courtyard, I can feel the rumbling and sound of Trams in the morning, it will definitely wake you up with an earthquake feel !! Talking about the cleanliness and comfort, the room, carpet, upholstery & curtains were very clean..Even the toilet was nice & clean with daily towel change and cleaning.. No phone in room, as who needs it now days..The restaurant was closed for renovation which made some inconvenience entering the Hotel, but acceptable as they had put notice about it..Staple breakfast to keep you active for 2-3 hours, not worth mentioning as it was basic but not bad..Perfect location as it takes exactly 10 mins to walk down to old town centre. I would recommend this to people who are on a budget trip to Prague

Room Tip: Its true that you will be sleep deprived if staying in the room overlooking street.. Ask for a court...

I spent two nights in this hotel. The room was very big, tidy and clean as well as the bathroom where you'll find everything you need from towels to a hairdryer. There's free wifi in the whole building.
The hotel is in a great area just few minutes from the main squares and streets of the city. Nearby you can find bars, clubs, supermarkets etc.
As for the breakfast it was a typical buffet with a wide choice from milk and cereals to ham and cheese and much more, nothing special but still quite good!
I'd recommend it!

The location was right next to the train station and the breakfast was great, which was great as we had a lot of luggages to carry around. But there was no wifi access at all on my second night and when I asked the front desk for help, the lady at the desk was a bit angry as if it was my fault the wifi didn't work. So their wifi didn't really work and I recommend the hotel to improve their staff's attitude in treating a guest.

Room Tip: pick the one close to the front desk because wifi access was better around the front desk area

The location was fantastic. An easy walk from the main train station. If you are flying, there is an express bus from the airport to the train station. Compared to other hotels we considered - this one was the best price, and it includes breakfast and WiFi. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There were just two of us, but the room could comfortably hold a family of four if not more. It was an easy walk to everything we wanted to see. (We got there when the city was experiencing flooding - so we had to walk everywhere).

Room Tip: Our room was on the second floor and faced an inner courtyard. The room as very quiet and peaceful.

A basic hotel. But very clean, good bathroom, huge room. Not a Hotel to R&R in but a good one as a landing base.
Staff all friendly, breakfast basic, but ok.

Very near the station and walking distance to the City centre, trams, Metro.
Free wi-fi.

great value for money.
