“Romantically beautiful !”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 August 2014

Last month I was in Prague. It's a city with many faces. The most intriguing is the language. I could not fathom any grammatical tips so that I could learn some Czech. but otherwise, it's was such a joy to roam around the squares and streets of Prague.
Its history is so rich, and the castles, palaces, monuments and museums, are well kept and well guarded. But what I liked most was the night atmosphere. It felt safe and homely going round among the lit up shops and restaurants. We were in a hotel close to Wenceslas Square.
This square is awesome! It's so long and active! And the incline towards the museum is so imposing!! From the other end you can walk through a few narrow streets that reminded me of our Imdina, and you find yourself in OLD TOWN SQUARE.
OH...this is an amazing place.... it bubbles with activity. It felt like being in a romantic place where you feel your heart beating faster with excitement! The crowds are so happy, so many nationalities enjoying themselves simply by walking around, or drinking at a bar, or having dinner in one of the many restaurants all around. To see everybody smiling and having fun is a joy to behold.
Something else I noticed is the reasonable prices of drinks and food. I was misinformed about the city, having been given the impression that it's very expensive. It's very reasonable, and the people are so helpful, although I have to say that It lacks knowledge of the English language.Very few people speak good English, but we got around easily in spite of that.
The old clock attracts many tourists, as it has a particular tone on every hour.
I can say only this.... if you haven't been.... you must go....and be as romantic as you can!!! Enjoy Prague!

This was our first stop and we came back many times. People watching, the home of Einstein, St Nicolas Chapel, Tyn Chapel, the Astronomical Clock, and Trdelnik.

“This is really Prague”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 August 2014

Yes - go for the ambience, go for the people watching, go for the varied architecture. Don't miss it. It's fun to eat at a cafe surrounding the square, but be forewarned these restaurants are pricier than those off the square. (But, when will you have a chance to do this again?) Various musicians playing around the square. Watch out for the Seg Ways. They zoom around often uncontrollable, but it's fun to watch them maneuver between people. Wait for the astronomical clock to perform, only if you have to wait 5 - 10 minutes. It's pretty simple, but people seem to enjoy it nonetheless. Just enchanting.

“A Must See When In Prague !!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 August 2014

I liked the world-renowned Astronomical Clock, the Restaurants, Cafes and the few shops on the one side of the Square. The Chocolaterie VIVA Praha offers awesome & delicious Belgian-origin, but Czech-made chocolates. It even has a "museum" showing you how superb chocolates are actually made! Remember to take your Camera with you to the Old Town Square and to have an eye around for any rarely-hitting pick-pocketers. Rarely hitting because the place is most of the time supervised by discrete Police. So, nothing to be really scared of, just have an eye out for your personal belongings... Especially, your pockets and wallets!
