Nice place to take photos and get out from noisy city center. You can go to another part of Prague and can found cheaper meal and drinks

“beautiful bridge”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

very centrally located pedestrian brigde. The statutes should be cleaned, since they are all back. At the beginning, it's possible to climb up into the tower, which is recommended for great views (ticket should be bought inside the tower).

“A Historical LANDMARK”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

The Charles Bridge is one of the many historical landmarks in Prague. In this case, construction of this pedestrian bridge was started in 1357 by King Charles IV, a benevolent monarch loved by his people. Over the years, 30 statues of different Roman Catholic saints were added.
We were there on a sunny spring week-end day in April, so the bridge was packed with tourists and locals, some of whom were selling souvenir items and others who played music for tips. A festive atmosphere provided for a memorable day.

“Great Landmark”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

This historic bridge is located in the heart of Prague. It is full of vendors, buskers, tourists, statues, and views of the romantic Prague and castle. The bridge is lined with statues. Tours seemed available and each statue has a story. Some have bronze pieces that are rubbed for luck. You will see these parts so worn they shine.

The bridge is lit at night and as the people start to clear out you can have some nice photos here. There are great views afforded of the castle from the bridge. There are also several eateries that will have a decent view of the bridge.

You will most likely come through this bridge several times on you holiday.

“The Bridge”
Reviewed 8 May 2014

Even though it's crawling with tourists the whole day, it's worth the walk to see the statues, and the view from the Charles Bridge. The history it carries is fascinating, and a tip for those looking for the perfect picture, get up really early in the morning, sunrise, when there's no crowd yet and the light of morning sets beautifully on the sculptures and towers.
