There are two St Nicholas Church's in Prague. This is the more impressive of the two and sits in Lesser Town Square, the other is in the Old Town. It makes a nice place to rest your legs if you are about to walk up to the castle. Entry is 70kc and you aren't allowed to take photos, which is slightly annoying because it has one of the most beautiful interiors in all Prague. The high baroque artworks covering the walls and ceiling were begun in 1673 and continued for the next 80 years by the Jesuits. The ceiling has a spectacular fresco which gives a 3D illusion that it disappears up into heaven. The organ is one of Prague's finest and was once played by Mozart. There are concerts most nights starting 6pm and lasting an hour, they cost 500kc.
