Well worth the visit, beautiful and peaceful place, being renovated. The whole place is fantastic, and the museum is amazing. the staff was quite helpful.

The church as such is not that bad.
It is a small beautiful baroque church with a nice garden and a small chapel with remainings of frescos...
What I hated about it is that they not only charge you an entrance fee of around 10 euros to get in, but that there are small posters all over indicating that "if you want to take a picture of this or that you must pay 100 czech crones"...which I think is very annoiying and it makes me feel really angry at the church as an institution.
I mean they have valuable treasures in the second floor of the church, and they want to get money from people from taking pictures on the inside?
I do agree that sometimes it is needed to pay an entrance fee at a church to support the church's maintanance, but to charge for a picture, that is too much!
This people from Loreto Church in Prague went to far!!
Specially when you walk 10 minutes more to get inside the castle and are able to see a magnificent gothic cathedral for FREE.

Once home to monks and a traditional pilgrimage site, this ornate religious complex that houses thousands of diamonds is a charming destination.
Loreta Monastery and Treasury is an active convent with a fascinating history. Many visitors to Prague miss this attraction as they hurry past it on their way to Prague Castle. Founded in 1626, the monastery’s main feature is its replica of the Santa Casa, the home of the Virgin Mary. The treasury on the same site houses a vessel decorated with 6,222 diamonds.

We did pay extra to take pictures and I am so glad I did

Entry fee 130 krona (4.5 3euro) photo permission 3.5 Euro. It's worth it! Very nice church, great grounds, plus treasury and Crypt. Prague has many churches where there is no fee. This is not a huge one but well worth the money. Close to Prague castle.

The guide book described Loreta as a must see so we made the effort to visit and paid to enter. I found it very dull but this was more likely due to me being more interested in history than religion.
Although the building is incredibly beautiful, this isn't an attraction I would recommend as a must see on a visit to Prague.
