“Outstanding Hotel in Prague”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 September 2011

On a recent trip to Budapest and Prague we had the pleasure of staying at the Le Palais Hotel.
The service and breakfast were indeed outstanding. We took advantage of the spa as well as their shuttle service to the town center. The Shuttle was a BMW!
Their restaurant "le Papillon" was one of the finest we've been to anywhere.

We were staying in this hotel for 4 nights.
The hotel is great but expensive. What i didnt like was the payment for parking the car in hotel. They charged 30eur per night. Because of that the total cost were high.
Rooms are good but small. We had classic room, but still it could be bigger.
Everything alse was great.
Because the hotel isnt in the center of town you need to drive or walk, but that isnt a problem for people like us, because we love to walk around the town.

We spent several days in this hotel in May, during a 21-day trip in Europe. The service was immaculate, as was the condition of the hotel. Food was outstanding with a great variety for breakfast, and the evening meal was wonderful.
Full marks for service; although the hotel was a bit removed from the bustle of Prague, limo shuttle service was included in the price of the accommodation - very accommodating!
We would certainly recommend this hotel - unreservedly!

Le Palais was beautiful, room large and very nicely appointed; old world charm throughout the hotel. Breakfast was lovely with seating inside or a lovely balcony outside. Service was very good with 2 exceptions - one was a bellman who argued with me over delayed shuttle service from Wenceslas Sq; another was having to negotiate a password for internet service so we could print our boarding passes (their original position was having to pay for access for that purpose). Other service aspects were great - welcome, arranging taxis, etc. Metro a walk away so this hotel is not centrally located however the local charm of the neighborhood including local restaurants was very nice.

We stayed in this hotel for a conference held at the conference center. The staff were extraordinarily helpful and fluent in English. They arranged a private car and guide to take us to Cesky Krumlove when the Grayline bus tour was full. Breakfast was very good and had a great variety. The rooms were large, and the free minibar was a plus. We did use the car service from the airport and were very happy to have that luxury. For two women traveling, the hotel was located in a safe area and we felt safe walking to and from the subway stops. Would definitely return!!

Absolutely first class. The staff were top notch and they were always very helpful, printing off maps, boarding passes and even lending a phone charger.
The rooms were very good, not the best i've ever been in however absolutely nothing to complain about. The bed had a firm matress and all the pillows you could manage. Smaller pillows were available from the cupboard. The mini-bar was all inclusive which was a great touch, especially when a drink of water was needed. The bathroom had heated floors. It is situated in a very quiet area. There is also a jacuzzi and steam room downstairs.
The only negative was the shower head was impossible to fix higher up the pole.

Le Palais is one of the best hotels I have been to in a long time. Yes, it is located a little bit away from the main tourist attractions, but you can walk, take a taxi or public transport to get into the old town in no time. Indeed, we enjoyed walking 20 min every day into town. On the way back we took the free shuttle service offered by the hotel. There is only room for 4 people in the new 5er BMW, so you need to book the shuttle a day in advance. Our room and bed was very big and nice. The free mini bar gets topped up every day. The staff was always very friendly. Breakfast is very good. We also very much enjoyed the Spa area and massages.
