As always, trip advisor reviews sent us in the right direction! This highly-reviewed hotel turned out to be every bit as wonderful as everyone claimed it to be. The hotel has a lovely elegant feel but is still extremely cozy. There are so many ways that the comfort of guests has been made a priority in this hotel, for example the comfortable wing-backed chairs tucked around sunny corners in the public spaces, cheerful colour schemes in the room, a delightful soaker tub/shower combination in the bathroom with Occitane de Provence toiletries and a well-stocked complimentary mini bar in each room. All of the staff were very welcoming and always so helpful no matter what question or request we brought to them. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had wonderful variety. The hotel is conveniently located within a pleasant (15 minute) walk of Wenceslas Square. A free shuttle service will take you there and back if you prefer not to walk - prebooking one hour in advance is required. You can also utilize the hotel car service for airport transfers and they are very reasonably priced. The only small "snag" to our stay was that there was construction going on in the building immediately beside the hotel and the workers did start at 7 am every morning with skill saws, nail guns, etc. However obviously this is not in the control of the hotel staff. We did book our trip through expedia and wished they had informed us of this ahead of time - however, we chose to make the best of it and considered it our "wake up call" every morning so we wouldn't be tempted to sleep away our holiday and miss out on all the wonderful things Prague has to offer.

Room Tip: Currently construction going on right next door - perhaps ask for a room on the far end away from th...

Visited Prague for a mini honeymoon and could not have been more impressed with the Hotel Le Palais! On arrival (at around 10:30 pm) we were greeted and given a brief tour of the hotel after being told that we had been given a free upgrade. The room was gorgeous and the hotel had also left us a bottle of champagne and chocolates, as well as rose petals around the bath. We had used the airport shuttle service, which was very efficiant, with a very friendly driver. The hotel itself is stunning, with a very nice spa and gym. We used the restaurant for breakfast, which was perfect taken on the terrace in the sun, with lots of choices, from cooked to continental and the yummiest lattes I have ever had. The staff are friendly and helpful, and even seem to manage to remember who you are! As mentioned before, the hotel is a little out of the centre, but the free shuttle service is efficient and a nicer way to travel than the taxis which appear to be fairly old! Would definitely recommend this hotel, and if we go back to Prague, there will be no question of where we will stay.

Whilst the hotel is out of the center it's very easy to get to the old center, either using the free hotel shuttle or the tram (line 6) which stops close-by (5 min walk). The advantage is that the location is situated in a peaceful, very quiet residential area. The staff are very helpful and always friendly and the rooms spacious, very comfortable and spotless. We found the internet access pricy but the minibar is free which was really nice. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Excellent breakfast included in the room rate. We didn't need to use the sports facilities, after walking around Prague all day. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Room Tip: Just ask for a quiet oom and you'll get one.

This was our first visit to Prague and we could not have chosen a better hotel. Upon arrival the staff at the reception desk could not have been more helpful. Our room was absolutely beautiful. As a previous writer noted the floor of the bathroom could be heated. The breakfast buffet had an abundance of offerings. One great perk was they offered a shuttle service several times a day to the center of town. We have fallen in love with Prague and Hotel Le Palais and hope to return in the near future.

I wanted to surprise my husband with a trip to Prague for his 50th birthday and our 25th wedding anniversary. I used the tripadvisor site to read the hotel reviews. The Hotel Le Palais stood out, but ever the pessimist, I was sceptical, no hotel could be that perfect could it? But, I am writing to confirm that it can!!
The staff are very friendly and helpful,(particularly the limosine driver that collected us from the airport, eventhough the flight was late). The room was very comfortable and quiet, the buffet breakfast catered for all tastes and was even better when taken out onto the terrace in the sunshine. The room service was excellent (we can reccomend the club sandwhich or the steak after a long day sightseeing) and the free mini bar and coffee/ tea making facilities were most appreciated. Unfortunately, we did not have time to indulge in the spa facilities, but you have to leave something to look forward to next time.
We like walking and so the 15 minute walk to Wencelas Square was no problem, however there is a free limosine service to the heart of the square and back if you prefer.
We had a problem with the room safe on arrival and this was dealt with within minutes of asking.
We have already reccomended this hotel to friends and family and have no doubt that we will return in the future, as we would like to see Prague in the winter,

Le Palais is an elegant hotel in an elegant neighbourhood. The room had staggeringly high ceilings. The floor of the bathroom had optional heating. I could stretch out in the tub. The bath amenities were from Occitane de Provence. The bed was dressed with over sized pillows. Each night the bed was turned down and slippers left by the bed. The minibar was nicely stocked (juice, Coke, waters, beer, wine, etc.) and everything in it was free.

But the service was over the top. Our room was in a section of the hotel where wifi was spotty. I mentioned this to the staff who showed me two other rooms to move to. When I said that I loved the room I was in (room 101) they brought in a spare router used for conferences so that I had the wifi service that was important to me. Brilliant!
