This September past marked the fifth visit that my wife and I have taken to the "Hotel Le Palais". Every one has been exceptional.
From gourmet cuisine and a sumptuous assortment of foods to beauty salon services accompanied by strawberries and champagne, this is undoubtedly a truly superb Hotel.
Resident Hotel Chauffer "Ota" has really made each stay something special, insisting on phoning ahead to make arrangements for us and accommodating our every need. Indeed, all staff are delightfully friendly, from the hotel manager (Petra) to the concierge and the doormen. Very rarely do hotel employees go out of their way to appease guests quite as readily as they do at the Palais.
In 2004, we stayed at the hotel over my wife's birthday and surprised her by flying out my son, daughter-in-law and my grandchildren to join us. I began correspondence with Petra by e-mail a few weeks before the visit to ensure the secret wasn't given away! On each visit since (that was our first) we've been upgraded to complimentary suites, as was my daughter-in-law when she visited Prague with her friends in 2005.
The Czech Republic is a beautiful country and deserves to be seen despite accommodation, but if you want something a little special, stay at the Hotel Le Palais.More
