“A hotel that truly enhanced our holiday”

We went to Palais Prague for 4 nights. The attention to detail was wonderful. We truly relaxed after a day of touring. Our accomodations were wonderful with little extras that meant alot.We felt pampered and looked after. It was a perfect hotel stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

The large and brightly decorated rooms carry the old world charm that Prague has to offer. The bathrooms are large, and the amenities are joyously etiquette. The heated floor after a long soak in the tub on a cold snowy day is just priceless. I think our favorite is the free mini-bar that is stocked daily with chocolates, snacks and beverages of your liking. You may even find a homemade gourmet truffle at your bedside turn over…mmm! The hotel also has an exquisite gourmet restaurant, Le Papillon. Sure you may be a little out of the town center and set amongst a quiet residential neighborhood of Prague, but it is worth the taxi ride, or paying that little extra for a private transfer. If you are worried about getting lost when you are out exploring this amazing city, the hotel offers a cell phone service for you to take with you (for a small charge for course). Concierge goes to great lengths to be sure you feel safe, happy and best of all, like a guest. Not just any guest either, the finest of houseguest. So when your feet tire from all the sightseeing, be sure to call the front desk and pencil in a Spa treatment at the PURE Spa & Health Club and after words lounge around in the whirpool jacuzzi or the sauna. We can only pray to get back there again, we miss you Le Palias and Prague! Shannon and Michael Lee

Slightly concerned about Prague’s reputation as a rowdy weekend destination, we chose this hotel deliberately because it was located out of town. It actually turned out to be a 15 minute walk to the centre but was situated in a very quiet residential area.

Upgraded to a suite on arrival, the champagne and welcome we received ensured the stay began on a high note and the impeccable service could not be faulted throughout our three night stay.

The suite was superbly appointed and the furnishings in absolute harmony with the aspect and the original paintings excellent. The Nespresso machine and “free” mini-bar were thoughtful touches. There could have been more wardrobe hanging space but this is a minor point.

Breakfast was served in the elegant dining room or outside on the terrace and was small but of superb quality – the poppy seed cakes particularly delicious and the waiting staff attentive.

The young front desk staff were knowledgeable and extremely polite and courteous. There are a few local bars and restaurants well worth seeking out and being off the beaten track are full of locals and offer good, basic fare.

The old town has charm but can be spoiled by the large number of visitors intent on having a good beer-induced time and we found the Czechs to be efficient but all rather sad!!!

I would not fail to recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a haven from what can be a busy and touristy city.

I spent my 60th birthday at the hotel. I was treated like a princess. I was greeted by name the momment I walked in. My suite (which had been an upgrade) was one of the most beautiful hotel rooms I ever stayed in. The ceiling was actually hand painted with cherubs. I thought they had taken me to the wrong room. Everyone was so nice. The spa was lovely and I enjoyed a great dinner with friends in the restaurant. The hotel is located a little farther away from the sightseeing but the hotel provides a shuttle service. I would love to go back to Prague and the Palais anytime.

We just spent 5 nights at Hotel Le Palais and LOVED it. We had a very large, beautiful room with a huge bathroom. It was just as pictured on the website. The amenities were very nice: free mini bar, L'Occitane products, fruit and pralines each day in our room, turn down services and very comfortable bed. The best part about the hotel is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. They all speak English which is very helpful as well. We wanted to rent a car to go to Vienna and the bellman arranged the whole thing for us including having the car delivered and picked up at the hotel. The only thing to be aware of is that this hotel is a bit far from the center of the city. It is walkable, but it is a good 1/2 hour and the return is uphill. The hotel does have a free shuttle service several times a day into the center and that is a great option. Also, the restaurant is excellent for dinner and breakfast is quite good. We never ate lunch there, because we were out. Also, the spa is wonderful.

The hotel is lovely, clean, tasteful and the staff goes the extra mile to please your requests. We were two couples and would definitely return if back in Prague. We walked our way to the city centre and back to the hotel and it was a pleasant, colorful way (nothing chic, very local, but safe and busy during the day) In case you are on the lazy side, they offer a free shuttle service -though you need to book it an hour in advance. Breakfast was also delicious and the bar is perfect for chatting and drinking.
We recommend it fully.
