Hotel Jalta has been a great hotel for our first trip to Prague. Wonderful location on Wencelas Square. Walking distance to so many Prague highlights. Comfortable rooms and the staff has been great. Would definitely recommend.

Room Tip: Our room on 5th floor has a small balcony. Looks out onto wencelas square.

I give this hotel an average for the reason that we had booked two rooms for our party of 5; and could not have had a more opposite experience. One room (near the lift) was amazing - spacious, comfy beds - whilst the second room (at the end of the hallway) was like a broom closet. We were quite shocked because the rates were not that different. It was hard to get over something like that because it did not seem to be a fair arrangement for our group.

Other than the jarring difference in rooms, the hotel is fantastically central. You feel like you are in the pulse of the city and everything is just outside the hotel. Hands down great location. Service is good. Key-card kept de-activitating. Breakfast was a semi-decent affair.

Perfect location, if a bit noisy. A few steps to two metro stations. Very friendly staff. Free Apples at the reception and on each floor. Nice breakfast. Rooms are clean, but water in the room is 80 kc.
No gym, though their website says there is one. They spray hallways and rooms with perfume, which is very hard for people with allergies. I asked at the reception that they stop doing this in our room, and they stopped. Still, perfume in the hallways is annoying. The restaurant is expensive and o is room service.

Hotel Jalta is a good four star hotel by Western European standards but definitely not five star. Stayed on bed and breakfast basis and had one mediocre lunch in dining room. Breakfast buffet is reasonable but not five star. Cleaning staff do not clean cups or spend too much time in bathroom. Overall it is good value for money as a four star property

The hotel is located in the center of Wenceslav square and is in walking distance to Old Town and other major sites. The service and customer care provided by the staff is exemplary here. They will go out of their way to help you. We did not have enough cash for our cab ride one night and the receptionist who had came out to greet us lent money out of his own pocket. So sweet!

The restaurant on the ground level, Como, is beautiful and had a great breakfast selection. Oh and L'Occitane toiletries!

I would highly recommend staying here!
