We loved this place (3 nights). It still has a somewhat Eastern European feel about the decor but the staff are excellent and clearly enjoy the jobs they are doing - not only true of the reception staff but also the restaurant staff. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. It was interesting to experience this quality of service since we felt that staff in the Prague shops were generally very offhand and not very pleasant! Breakfasts here were well stocked and restocked punctually. If you want a really nice place to stay that has a bit of local colour and is not a chain (?) then try this place.

We had 4 nights here on a city break with Jet 2.i immediately noticed on check in that the guests before us and after were offered complimentary drinks on check in.Can only assume they were in better standard rooms than us.
All staff were very professional, friendly and helpful.cannot fault them.
Room was ok but definitely not 5 star.Nothing special about it.Toiletries were lovely though.Nice touch with a chocolate in the room but no complimentary water .Again 5 star hotels normally provide this in my experience.
Breakfast was not hot enough and 1 morning the fried potatoes had run out at 9.10am and were not replaced.Thought a 5 star would not let this happen, same with the pastries as they had run out on the Friday morning and were not replenished.
Hotel is in a great location and we heard minimal noise from the square.
No noise heard from the building work next door.
Overall enjoyed our stay despite some of the observations in my review.

This was our first visit to Prague and everything about this town was amazing, including the hotel. I have read some other reviews and it’s probably better to understand this is a boutique hotel not part of a chain, so in my experience these hotels offer a different experience. The hotel staff were all very friendly and attentive, the hallways are big and roomy, I guess the doors to the rooms open outwards but I don’t see this as an issue. The rooms are well appointed, they are cleaned properly everyday and if you get a balcony over looking the main street you have a great view and see that Prague is very much about Grand and elegant buildings. The location of the hotel is fantastic you are 400 metres from the museum and only five mins walk to the old part of town. Travelling around Prague is very easy and the manager and staff were very helpful explaining how to purchase tickets either through newsagents or the PID Lítačka App. I noticed there was a building going up beside us but having stayed for three nights here I did not once notice any disruption. The breakfast was excellent and we did not experience any problems at all with service. There is also an amazing Andy Warhol picture in reception. We certainly hope to come back to this hotel.

On arrival we were met by welcoming staff, offering us Prosecco and fruit water. Throughout our stay the staff were very hospitable, attending to our every need.

The hotel is set in an ideal location in the centre of Wenscalas Square. Only 15 minutes walk away from Old Town Square, 2 minute walk from National Museum and 20 minute walk from Charles Bridge.

The hotel itself has a very interesting attraction free to guests! At 9pm every evening you can go down to the bottom of the hotel and explore the Nuclear Fallout Shelter that was used in the Cold War. We highly recommend it!
