The family and I just returned from our trip to Prague. The Prague Marriott is a wonderful place to stay in the world's most beautiful city. The service and hotel is a step above the typical Marriott. The rooms are clean, functional and offer those items you appreciate being away from home. Beds were incredibly comfortable.
What I was most impressed with was the staff. Denisa and Veronika particularly from the concierge desk were just simply incredible. They helped me coordinate day trips, transportation, suggestions and reservations for dinner and activities..always going above and beyond what one would expect. I can't say enough great things about the Marriott experience and the staff. Wonderful hotel and in a wonderful location to really take in the city. Everything is in easy walking distance and the hotel is just five minutes away from all the hustle and bustle of Prague.
The Executive lounge, food and service is also a step above other Marriotts. So nice to here " let me get that for you or let me do that for you, this is your vacation"

Room Tip: get the executive suite room, gives you some extra relaxation space...

My husband and I stayed at the Marriott in Prague over Easter weekend 2012. The hotel offered everything you would expect from a US hotel - clean rooms, comfy beds, luxurious sheets, lots of pillows, generous room sizes, tub/showers that don't soak the bathroom floor and excellent service.

There were 3 potential downsides. 1) The hotel has a rather "vanilla" or "sterile" American aesthetic. You could be in any Marriott in the world in one of the rooms or lobby. Which is perfect if what you're looking for is a great place to sleep and excellent service. 2) The hotel was still on "heat" mode and very warm. Trying to utilize the AC to cool the room wasn't working. Turning off the radiator under the bathroom sink and requesting a key to open the window worked wonders. 3) The pool, gym and spa are actually part of a separate gym in the basement. The gym space was extensive (they even had a heavy bag for boxing), I did not see the pool, but I would not recommend it for "spa" services. The space just wasn't conducive to what Americans expect out of a spa/massage experience.

This Marriott was centrally located (walking distance and/or public transport) to all the main sights, you could get the hotel car (Mercedes) for a ride to dinner (and back) for not much more than a normal taxi, the buffet breakfast (included in our room rate) was extensive and generous and the staff were attentive to our every request. The concierge women effeciently booked us concert tickets, made great recommendations of local places for lunch and dinner that were not tourist traps and clarified the timing of which sights to see when, given the holiday closures. It was too late to get dinner at a local restaurant after our concert, so we had dinner in the hotel's Midtown Grill. The USDA 200g filet mignon and grilled vegetables was perfection. The 300g filet was a little too charred around the edges, but otherwise very good. As American ex-pats, it was a delicious slice of home that didn't break the bank as it might have in London.

Prague was a wonderful city to visit and I would highly recommend spending a little extra to stay at the Marriott.

Fantastic hotel in great location - easy walking distance to Old Town and Castle. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the ambience is like you'd expect of a hotel in this category. The rooms were great size and very comfortable. The rack rate would a bit on the steep side, but overall fantastic value for money.

Located just maybe a 100 metres away from the old town, this Marriott has decent spaced lobby, very friendly and smiling staff, was on top of all the requests - like getting non-standard cars for the transport, etc.

Very large and quiet executive lobby on 2 floors. Rooms are decently shaped, effective and quiet AND non-drying skin HVAC - providing good night's sleep. Illy cafe has excellent barista pulling great espresso.

Spent four nights at the Marriott. Our overall experience was very good. The hotel service is excellent. The rooms were nice, modern, and clean. We initially stayed in a King room, and were subsequently upgraded to a suite. Both rooms were comfortable. Our only gripe with the hotel was the HVAC. We would set the AC to cool the room to roughly 69 degrees before bed time. However, each night the AC would shut-off after roughly 3 hours and then the fan would start pumping hot air out. Each night of our stay we woke up at 4am sweating. Not fun. The hotel management was nice, but indicated that they could not change the HVAC functionality. To make us comfortable, they provided us with the key to our windows so we could keep them open at night which helped a bit. They also upgraded us to the suite, but the HVAC functionality was the same.

The executive lounge for Marriott Reward members was very good, not quite as good as the one we had in Berllin, but much better than the lounges in the USA. The location of the hotel is also quite good, easy walking distance to all of the main sights in Prague and a 30 second walk to the metro station.

All in all, this is a solid choice for anyone visiting Prague. It would have been 5 stars if it weren't for the HVAC issues mentioned above.

Well now the lobby bar has been divided into 2 sections smoking and non smoking, this is a good idea, althjough I am a No Smoker, i have people coming to see me in the hotel and they are smokers, so now once again I can entertain in the lobby Bar and they can have their ciggarette.
This Hotel is realy quite superb and extremely well located.

Room Tip: All rooms at this Hotel are excellent, but street facing rooms are not as dull as inside rooms are

Nice Hotel in a great location: 10' from everything to see in Prague.
The breakfast had a variety of products from fruit to sausage and sausage. There's even a chef ready to make something right away.
The big-beds was so wide and firmly prepared that you can sleep on it for days.
Even if you want, you have a gym-spa to relax and make some exercise in your visit.

Room Tip: rooms on front shows a little sightseen from Prague
