I travel internationally on a regular basis and this hotel has perhaps the best service I have ever encountered. While the rooms are very nice, well appointed and clean, and the restaurant and bar are above-average, it is the work of the concierge staff and others that sets it apart. I would highly recommend it to others and will always stay there when I am in Prague.

My wife treated me to a trip to Prague for my B-day to research family roots and visit this jewel of a city. We just spent 11 nights at this wonderful hotel on the executive level-amenities were fantastic ranging from a continental b-fast w/hot eggs, bacon & sausage to the all day availability of a variety of beverages and cookies - and the coffee/cappucino/espresso machine is to die for and is fully automatic. Evening hospitality period brings out hot hors d'oeuvres and additional veggie and other snacks and foods - sometimes negating the need for dinner. The hotel staff is friendly and speaks fluent english along with other languages. Concierge was very helpful in assisting me with subway directions to the State Archives to do genealogical research. Room was clean and has a mini-bar fridge and an in room safe. Front doorman Jiri was helpful as was Stepanka who works in the executive lounge - she is an employee this hotel should be proud of. Hotel is a short block from the subway and tram stops. Very close to the entrance gate (Powder Tower) to old town. There is a Hilton across the street but you can't compare it to the Marriott - the Hilton barely has a lobby. There is a Billa Grocery store steps out the front door and the Palladium shoping center is a 4 minute walk and has 200+ stores and another grocery store (Albert) on the lowest level. Overall this is an A++++ property and is highly recommended.

Our Marriott experience in Prague was outstanding and one we recommend highly. The location was perfect, which is especially important in a walking city like Prague. Thanks to special attention of Angela Petráková, Guest Relations Executive, we booked our reservations online and were pleased with the ease and efficiency of check in. In addition, we were upgraded to a mini suite with free wifi -- a big plus. We loved the hotel's concierge service, which provides food from 6 am to midnight daily, for weary travelers like us. We also recommend the hotel bar and restaurant, providing excellent food (local and American) with attentive service. This hotel is now one of our favorite Marriotts.

This is a nice hotel in a good location. It is why we chose it. Also because we spent a lot of nights in Marriotts.

One evening we returned from a concert to discover the wi-fi was down. We called down and they told us it was being fixed and should be up in about 10 min. About 1/2 hour later we tried again. Still not working, so we went to bed. Next morning it is working fine. That afternoon we received a fruit plate in the room from management apologizing about the "inconvenience.". Not expected, but nice surprise.

I stayed here with a tour group and it was an upgrade from the hotel we were supposed to stay at. The location was one of the best aspects of this hotel. Located (10 min walk) to the Old Town Square and many shops along the way. Another plus is there is a grocery store down the street and nice cafe that served very good food right down the street. I would not consider this a five star hotel, more like a four or four and a half. The staff was always helpful, the hotel also had an atm inside, which made it convenient to get cash. We used the spa facilities once and it was not crowded, but we used it very early in the morning. I used the jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room! overall a very nice stay.

We just spent a week in Prague. This hotel was superb. Really friendly and helpful staff. Close to old city and convenient to metro. Really liked the Executive Lounge. Only minus is the water in the bathtub was slightly rust colored. Would stay again.

I stayed here with my Girlfriend for her birthday in October 2011, and can say this is one of the best Marriotts i have ever stayed in. Everything from the location to the manners of the staff was just excellent. The rooms were clean, and very comfortable.

On arrival, we upgraded to the executive lounge which was over two floors, something I had never came accross before. For the extra charge of 40 EUROS per night (I think) it was worth it. At 3pm you could help yourself to afternoon tea and cakes, 5-9pm complimentary alcohol and canapes.

The service from the receptionists, porters, and the concierge were excellent. One in particular woman who worked in the Executive lounge was very helpful, and recommended some great places to eat and visit.

I highly recommend this hotel in Prague, and if a special occasion, upgrade to the exec!

Room Tip: If you work for Marriott, or you are a rewards member (Gold or Platinum) ask for an upgrade!
