“I would recommend this high-end stay with family and Marriott reputation”
Reviewed 2 August 2012

If you are a long time Marriott customer, make use of the loyalty and help by pointing out what you do not like. GM and senior Management staff are responsive, other worker-bees only follow the protocol, afraid to do anything other than what's approved by the management. Location is great. Lobby is impressive, room sizes are decent for a capital city and less than 300 Euros /night-- yes it's not cheap there. Place is safe to walk to the old town square. Still delivers less than what it should. I would say Yes to it, considering you will be heard and problems resolved if you are unsatisfied.

Room Tip: Do take the breakfast package, since it is worth not rushing out and looking for place to eat in the...

Hotel is located at the city center, near to the Powder Tower and the Municipal House. Breakfast (included in the room price) was very good, served from 6:30 to 11 am. Train station located at 5 min walk from the hotel - is not the central station, so we had no problems with noise and so on. Room was very good, spacious and clean. Cons is an internet connection. It was not free and it was impossible to connect WiFi without wired ethernet (it was required to set user name and password). To my mind internet should be free of charge for all guests in 21-st century. My ipad had no wired enternet so I've bought local Vodafone SIM-card in the shopping mall Palladium located in 2 min walk for 10 USD.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. The location was perfect and the hotel was in excellent location and shape. The staff were super nice and very accommodating. I travel a lot and in different countries. But I can say with certainty that the staff in this hotel went out of their way to make our visit as enjoyable as possible. I would recommend it to anyone and hope to go back there again soon.

We always stay at a Marriott property when we vacation. This was among the best. Our room was upgraded by the Customer Relations Executive, Angela, and we had access to the Concierge Lounge. The Concierge Desk in the lobby was also very helpful in confirming the hotel pickup for some of our tours. The most important thing is that the hotel was located within walking distance of everything we wanted. Close by is the Republic Square and the Municipal House. The Municipal House is beautiful and has concert programs nearly every day and several ornate restaurants. On the square there is also a Metro station, a Hop-On Hop-Off stop, and tour bus kiosks. A large shopping center is at one end and at the other end is the Powder Tower and the gateway to the Old Town and the Market Square. From the Market Square we also walked to the Charles Bridge. Most of the restaurants we visited were within walking distance. Finally, there is a supermarket a few feet away from the front of the hotel. In short,t we walked to everything we wanted.

I only stayed one night but was a little reluctant to leave! A beautiful hotel with friendly staff and great rooms. I would return and stay again. One downside is expensive room service and the food could have been better but this was minor point compared to everything else in this great hotel

I don't write much and not even often. Just a simple fact: Prague Marriott Hotel is a joke an I would rate it as poor 4-star hotel. If you have low standards and money to waste go there, otherwise avoid it. Far from luxury hotel. Spa area sucks and it is dirty.

(This was my second and definitely the last Marriott Hotel ever.)
