“Good - not 5 star”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 December 2013 via mobile

Location is superb. Rooms clean and comfortable but not luxurious as you expect from a 5 star. Breakfast is ok. Rooms are excessively warm - no handles to open the windows!!! The Cedaz bus stops directly outside which facilitates a cheap and reliable transfer to and from the airport. If your budget allows pick the buddha bar or the U Prince instead.

Rooms are very comfortable and the hotel is in a very good location. An easy short walk to old town and two tram stops. Concierge is very helpful and overall service was very good. Recommend a room on the executive level with access to the private lounge. The lounge is a great place to have a free breakfast, snacks throughout the day, beverages, and evening cocktails and a nice selection of hors d'oeuvres.

For a marriott the bathrooms where tired and need tlc.
The first room 609 had a crack in the sink and the grout round the bath/shower was dirty or missing in places.
The next room they showed us 610 had no draws to put your clothes in except two small ones in the wardrobe. The bathroom again need some tlc the grouting was dirty.
Finally room 636 was ok, bathroom still needed some tlc the grout was still poor.
Shame, thought Marriott had higher standards.
The room was not worth the money by any means

Rooms are comfortable, bathrooms excellent; easy to find hotel when driving; on edge of the old town but not in middle of the crowds; hotel staff extremely professional, helpful, and truly friendly . . . As a seasoned traveler, I highly recommend this hotel !!!

We thought this was an excellent hotel; location was superb for walking to Old Town, concerts, Museums, Jewish Quarter, shopping, restaurants. Rooms were immaculate, attractive, spacious and well appointed; staff was friendly and totally accommodating; food was superior to most hotel fare and prices were fair. We stayed 3 nights and do not have a single negative comment.

The hotel is wonderfully situated at the edge of the old city. You can walk to just about everything. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Spotlessly maintained. The staff are welcoming and always "at your service". The executive lounge is pretty good, although it can get crowded - even with two levels.

If you are a Marriott person, like me, you will not be disappointed. It is perfect for that jaunt to Prague...

Great location, within walking distance of major historical attractions, and a modern shopping mall and department store as well. Service was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable. Fantastic Concierge Lounge, gym and pool were a plus, especially with kids. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, would be happy to stay again.
