“Excellent Accommodations and Service”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

My wife and I, our son and his wife and our daughter had 3 rooms at the Prague Marriott for a week. The accommodations were excellent and every staff member we met was extremely friendly and helpful. In particular I would like to mention Alicia who checked us in and gave us valuable information and help throughout the week. Klara in the Concierge Lounge also deserves special mention. Even though she has been working there a relatively short time, she provided excellent service and went out of her way to find information for us. In addition, the location is great.

1st time in Prague but what a lovely place. There's a large square which was packed with street entertainers/bars tourists etc, it was teeming all day/night, what a fantastic place.
The Prague Marriott hotel is literally 2 mins walk away and is in the perfect location for the cafes/restaurants/bars and is in a great location for sight-seeing. The staff were brill' especially 'Dassia' (I think that's how you spell her name?) nothing was too much trouble, she was really nice. My room (223) was huge, a lounge with sofa, chairs, large tv, mini-bar etc and a seperate toilet and then the bedroom with another tv and the bathroom. Allright, it was £210 per night but, wow, it was lovely. Airport was a 20 minute taxi drive. Everyone was friendly. Don't think about it, just go and enjoy..and mention to Dassia that the guy who gave her the pen sent you!!

On first glance the rooms at the Prague Marriott are just more 'Marriott' rooms. What sets this hotel apart is the service and the location. We had two adjoining rooms with a door between them [parents in one room, two teens in the other]. We felt secure since the room key was required to operate the elevator. Beds were comfortable, along with the upholstered chair and ottoman. Refrigerator and coffee maker were included, and bathroom was fine with toiletries. WiFi was excellent! The service downstairs was terrific. Concierge[s] were always helpful, knowledgeable, and precise in providing information, including making the hotel car available [for a fee, and can be put on your hotel bill] for a trip to the airport to pick up a rental car -- and mapping out the best route back to the hotel. There is a public parking garage next door with access directly into the hotel, and they can put the parking tab on the hotel bill. The hotel doorman was likewise full of information and suggestions. Just one block down the street begins the old, historic town center which, as anyone who's been to Prague knows, is breathtaking. Too, there's a grocery store a half block away and a 'galleria' shopping mall just a block away with a very large variety of stores to pick up or replace clothes, shoes, and other things a traveler would need. Of course there are plenty of restaurants [we preferred the sidewalk cafes] with variety of menus. We had access to the lounge in the Marriott, which has long hours and always an attendant on duty [somewhat rare in many hotel lounges], with excellent breakfast buffet and heavy hors d'oevres in the evening with cookies and cakes later. While the Marriott is not itself historic, it's convenient to all that a traveler in Prague would want with excellent service in all respects.

Very, very nice. The staff were very polite and helpful. The bellman Martin was especially helpful and but all staff we encountered were above average. The hotel is ideally located - close but not too close to old town. There is a nice market down the street selling food and crafty stuff. I would definitely stay there again.

We just spent 3 wonderful nights at the Prague Marriott. We had booked a room on the concierge level and the services were excellent. For breakfast there is a full selection of hot and cold items, and the evening snack/hors d'oeuvres are so delicious that you have to be careful not to spoil your dinner plans. Also during the entire day you can sit and relax anytime in the lounge and have a cold drink and/or coffee, tea, etc.

The location of the hotel is perfect to see all the sites. It's just a short 10 minute walk to the Old Town Square. Along the walk to the Square you will pass a nice outdoor market with food and handicrafts of Prague which will begin your introduction to this beautiful European city. You can easily tour the Jewish Quarter and walk across the Charles Bridge.

I highly recommend this hotel for any visit to Prague. You will be sure to enjoy your stay.

We used our points and upgraded for a cost to a suite along with the concierge level and it was the best money spent. Our suite was large and beautiful and had a half bath along with a large full bathroom. The food and drinks up the concierge level were great and plentiful. The location is a short 5 minute walk to the center. We were trying to decide between this hotel and the Boscolo which also falls under Marriott, did have to move to the Boscolo for one night because our hotel was full, their location is not good and the rooms tiny. Stay at this Marriott instead.
