An excellent 5-star hotel experience! Hotel Paris features gloriously appointed (art nouveau) rooms, superb cuisine, a courteous staff that pays attention to every detail, and an unbeatable location. The live music in the fine-dining area every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday adds a touch of elegance and pizazz.

The spa, which features a whirlpool, steam bath, and sauna is small but quite pretty. It does get crowded though, if there are more then six people using it at the same time (possibly because it's only open from 16:00 - 21:00). I noticed that it's possible to book the spa for private use during off hours. The price for a private rental is reasonable and would be worth it.

Can we talk about breakfast? Fantastic! The dining room is extremely pretty, with huge windows and crystal chandeliers and crisp table linens. The food on the buffet was warm and fresh, and the on-site cook makes eggs and pancakes to order.

The ladies and gentlemen working at reception were friendly and very helpful.

We are both musicians and, in addition to the live music in the hotel, we really enjoyed the music played throughout the lobby and bar areas. Charlie Parker for cocktail hour? Fine with us. The selections were unique and fun. This shows a lot of character on the part of management. Well done.

Would we stay at Hotel Paris again? Of course. Beautiful!

Room Tip: I suspect that all of the uniquely decorated rooms have character. We were on the street side and ha...

Love this hotel. Old french movie elegant. The room and the bathroom are clean. The bed are super comfy. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. They always gave good advice and good direction to places. Could use an update on the carpet in the room. The building it self is a site. Just Beautiful. I love the location of the hotel. Close to the grocery "Bella". You can get water, beers, etc there. The down side is the internet fee...it's ridiculous. Hello management..it's 2011....all internet should be free to the guest. Other than that....we loved it. Just got back couple days ago. 5-10 minutes walk to the Astronomical Clock in the Old Town.

This Hotel was a delight - so conveniently located for everything you would wish to see.
Close to the Old Square, Wenceslas square just beyond, the Jewish quarter etc.
Didn't eat there in the evening but can thoroughly recommend the breakfast - and as for their famous Paris cake - just go for it!
Prague is very romantic (even though we took our parents) and magical at Christmas - put it on your to do list if you haven't already been. We will go again.

Room Tip: The only negative was a ghastly selection of pillows - crumb I think they call it. Our housekeeper...

I like history and the hotel Paris has an excellent location. The building is beautifil at Art Noveau .

Stayed here for Christmas - here for a couple of operas and a ballet. Arrived on Christmas eve. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant - service was a bit slow but as there were 5 courses it wasn't a problem! Art deco style hotel and a few minutes walk from the old square. Rooms very comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast extensive with something for everyone. Would definitely stay again. Only criticism is a general one - people can still smoke in public areas in Prague and I forget how much I hate sitting in restaurants and cafes with the smell of smoke!

Booked this for the christmas break. Looked in a good position and we were not disappointed when we got there. Freindly staff and a warm welcome. Nothing too much trouble.

Hotel not a 5 star but a 4 but it didn't detracted from the experience. Breakfast was excellent and you could have anything you wanted and as much as you liked. Only down side was no coffee making in the room and you had to pay 15 euro if you wanted it.

Excellent position, near new shopping centre, gentle stroll to old town and jewish quarter. We walked everywhere very easily. Food nearby very varied, old town square more expensive but if you hunted could find good places. Beware of the wine prices in restaurants as can be pricey.

Hotels facillites good, no pool but sauna, steam room and jacuzzi and well equipped Gym if you wanted it. For its position the hotel was also exceeding quiet. I would use it again.
