“Excellent Hotel in Prague”
Reviewed 17 July 2012

This is a great hotel for visiting Prague as a tourist. Fabulous art nouveau features. If you're going to Prague, why not get the full art nouveau experience, rather than staying at a more generic place? Nice neighborhood. Good location across the street from the Municipal House, five minutes from Old Town Square, 10-15 min walk from Charles Bridge and Jewish Quarter. Excellent breakfast, included in price. Helpful staff. Free Wi-Fi in lobby area, which sometimes extended with weaker signal to room on second floor.

I've stayed 2 night at Hotel Paris with friend. I made a reservation for DELUXE ROOM, but It wasn't correspond to the name. When I back to Japan, I checked their official website, I realize the truth that we assigned different room. If I made a reservation for Std room, I have no complaint.
Anyway, the location and staff's hospitality are great. Breakfast buffet is good. Bus stop bound for airport is close.

Hotel location is perfect. 5 min. to old town square. 10 min to Charls bridge. If you like walking, 20 min you can be at Prague castle. Hotel staff are friendly from reception, concierge to canteen. We feel home here.

Hotel Paris is a beautifully restored art deco hotel. The rooms are well appointed (there about 87 in all) if slightly small by north American standards but charming, today we would call it a boutique hotel. It's still quite elegant. The staff was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble - the front desk staff double as concierge and they made excellent recommendations for us. We had a wonderful five night stay.

A bonus is their hotel restaurant, "Sarah Bernhardt". We usually don't bother with hotel restaurants but this ranks very highly on trip advisor and for good reason, it's top notch. Great quality and creative dishes with good service. It's great having this restaurant in the hotel, for that time when you're too tired to go trolling for dinner.

Breakfast was included for us and it's quite good.

First of all, the location is ideal, being in the core of the city, with a metro entrance right by the front door, on a cul-de-sac.
The staff was quite helpful and friendly.
The room I had was a tad on the small size, but that was a non-issue, as I was there to visit, not watch TV all day long. At any rate, it was well appointed, and probably had the most comfortable bed I ever slept in (very important!). The desk chair, while gorgeous, didn't have the back support I needed for my upper back, but that too was a non-issue as I just switched it with the plush armchair.
But it is the breakfast buffet that is the big deal-maker. An almost ridiculously wide selection of high quality items, quite tasty and presented with artistic flair.
And do I need to re-emphasize the beauty of the decor?
Oh, and the Paris Cake is delicious!

Room Tip: Couples might want a larger room than the basic.

I can't say enough good things about the Hotel Paris in Prague. Myself and my girlfriend went to Prague for a romantic weekend and the hotel was just perfect. The Art Nouveau style and 20s feel meant we fell in love with the Hotel with in minutes of arriving. The staff from the Doormen to the Reception were superb. Unbelievably friendly and helpful.

If you want to go to Prague then stay in the Hotel Paris you won't regret it.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Deluxe double and it was perfect

We booked a deluxe room for our wedding anniversary.Agent emailed ahead to inform hotel of it being a special occasion. We were allocated a small, dreary, dated room with a tiny balcony on which one person at a time could stand on, overlooking building works where they worked all weekend.Management were extremely unhelpful and refused to change room as they said this was what the agent Regent Holidays UK Ltd had booked for us.This room was like a room in a two star hotel and not five star for which we had paid five star prices.Room number was 304.Very disappointing as we had booked a long time in advance and were really looking forward to it.Prague, however,is a wonderful city.

Room Tip: When booking in, look at room before accepting it.Show hotel their own brochure with pictures of del...
