Hotel Paris is located just a few minutes away from the old town and the square. Very convenient for sight seeing. The hotel is fantastic. Great charming rooms and we got great service. The room came with breakfast and the breakfast buffet was fantastic with lots of choices for everyone. We also ate at the hotel restaurant one evening and the foot was really good.

Room Tip: Some rooms face the back which is an apartment building. There is not much of a view from this hotel...

I was recently in Prague and stayed at the Hotel Paris for 8 nights. The hotel was well positioned to visit all the sites in the Old Town, Jewish Quarter and New Town. I even walked to the Prague Castle. There is a metro station in the same street and the trams are across the square. The accommodation was excellent. I had a room that overlooked the Old Municipal building. The hotel was charming built in the Art Nouveau style in 1904. Not only was the lobby area magnificent but the rest of the hotel was also. The staircase is just beautiful. All the staff at the hotel were very attentive and helpful as I was traveling alone. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. I would highly recommend Hotel Paris and if I am in Prague again I will be staying here.

We were initially worried about booking at a boutique hotel in a foreign country rather than staying at a major chain, but after looking at the reviews and even contacting a couple reviewers we bit the bullet and booked. What a great decision we made!

The location is AWESOME! Out the door, turn right, then a left, and one more right and you are on the way to Old Town Square. Literally a 3 min walk, unless you stop in all the shops along the way :) If you make a left out of the hotel you will be across the street from the Palladium which is a big shopping mall, and there is another mall located right next to the hotel. Both have an "Albert" in them which is a little grocery store, great for stocking up on water and other needs.

The hotel staff was wonderful! The lady that checked us in could have used a little bit of a more friendly attitude, but it was not awful, just a little smile would have been nice. The bellmen were super, waited for us to root through our bags since we actually got there before check in, then stored the bags for us and upon our return brought them up to our room and showed us around the room. The restaurant staff was also amazing, we were greeted every morning with a smile.

The free breakfast was great. Our first morning there, we felt a little shorted because all we saw was a bunch of bread choices and some eggs and meat, but after eating what we had, we discovered a whole different area with cereal, yogurt, milk, sweet breads, fruit, cheese, sliced meats and even an omelet station (the chef is not always standing there, so just ask the person at the front of the restaurant)! Needless to say, the next 5 days breakfasts were amazing! :) Also, no decaf coffee in the pots, so you have to ask for it.

The room itself was fantastic. We were located on the 4th floor and had a WONDERFUL view of Tyn Chapel. It was so nice to be able to open the windows also. The a/c worked, but it seemed much cooler to have the windows open, so we did that a lot. Only downside to open windows is the bugs that fly in, but it was nice to hear the church & other bells going off throughout the day. We had 2 twin beds, which are just that- 2 twin size American beds. Love seat, chair & coffee table were in there as well as a small dresser & desk. The toilet is separate from the tub/shower/sink area which is a bit odd, but it worked out well. Took us a little while to figure out how to work the lights (finally discovered the "master switch"). The tub/shower was a little bit awkward the way the doors slide together, but another minor detail we figured out and worked through.

On a side note- if you need to change money (US to CZK or whatever), it is recommended to do it at the hotel vs the places you see on the street, a lot less commission and better exchange rate. There is also a CSOB ATM right around the corner from the hotel (us this vs the ATM's you see on the streets).

Also, there is free Wi-Fi.. yep.. that's right, FREE :) A little slow for FaceTime and Skype, we had some connection interruption issues, but perfect for everything else.

The only negative was the tissues, I had a cold and the tissues were not soft on the tender nose, but I was able to get some good tissues across the street at the store :)

Overall everything was fantastic and we made a wonderful choice! If we ever make it to Prague again this is where we will stay.

Thank you Hotel Paris for a wonderful stay!

Room Tip: Spend a little extra and upgrade to an Executive room. Also ask up front for a room with a view.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Our only reason for not going to 5 star is that our room was adequate but compact. There was no place for suitcases and these had to be placed on the floor which hindered movement. The bathroom was cosy and difficult for two people to use different facilities at the same time. The service was first class, reception was fast and efficient, but rooms were not available until 1500 on check in. The breakfast and dining room food and service first class. Our breakfast waitress Kristjan was a delight. The other facilities were as good.
From a tourist point of view the hotel is in a perfect position to access to restaurants, bars, and shopping as well as being very close to all the tourist attractions.
We would stay again but seek a larger room.

Stayed here for 2 nights during a visit to Prague. From the moment we arrived the service was fantastic. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, and gave us a great view along the street. It was however the staff that made this visit unforgettable. Advice was given about trips, and bookings made on our behalf. Our waiter in the restaurant offered advice on dishes and a wonderful history of the local wines, its these little details that make this hotel outstanding. Its location is close enough for easy walking to the square and sights, but far enough away to be quiet for a good nights sleep. We are already planning our return visit in the spring and will definitely be staying here again.

Stayed for three nights with the romance package which included transport from the airport, sparkling wine on arrival and dinner at the Sarah Bernhardt restaurant.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. They really go out of the way to make everything pleasant.
Our room was huge and very comfortable. Upon arrival we had a bottle of very nice sparkling wine, some lovely fruit and beautiful roses in our room.
The bathroom in our room was also huge and it had a big bathtub.
The hotel provides very nice toiletries which include pretty much anything you could want.
They even give you bath salts to use in their lovely tub.
Our package included transportation from the airport and back again.
Our flight to Prague was delayed by several hours and we neglected to call the hotel to inform them. Even so, the helpful hotel driver was waiting for us when we arrived.
If possible I would advice to book a package that includes transportation from the airport and back again.
The breakfast buffet at this hotel is very nice. They have a large variety of hot and cold food items, including an omelette station.
The dining room where breakfast is served is beautiful.
We had a lovely honeymoon stay at this hotel, very romantic and peaceful.

My husband & I stayed here 3 nights and loved it. We left our previous hotel in the middle of the night due to cigarette smoke/smell and found this smoke free hotel. (Our mistake for not checking this out ahead of time.) They called us a cab and checked us in at 2:00 and could not have been nicer. We had a lovely, clean, quiet suite. The hotel itself is stunning, especially the dining room, and we enjoyed walking throughout on the different floors admiring their art collection. Most importantly, the entire staff was wonderful and helpful with all our questions about getting around Prague. They are just a short walk off the main square, but on a quiet street. You are also just steps from the subway. Perfect location. You must also check out the dining room for dinner. A separate review is in order for that, but It should be noted that the food and service there was excellent.
