Hotel Paris is one of the most pleasant hotels we've ever stayed in. On arrival we were welcomed with an efficient check in and a nice surprise to be upgraded to a junior suite! Being in the centre of Prague we could walk outside and within 3 minutes be able to meander to the main square. The rooms are fantastic, art nouveau - refurbished in style. Restaurant excellent although we were pleased to have booked a meal the first night as without any warning on the third night, the restaurant was closed for a private booking.

Ideally located for all the recognised Tourist spots but take a Taxi to the Castle from just around tghe corner. If the Dining is not to your taste alternatives abound to meet all tastes. The Staff are wonderful, knowledgeable and so helpful.A very high standard all round. Highly recommended.

Very friendly hotel, even booking us in at 7.30 am straight from the overnight train for our one night stay. The shower and breakfast was just what we needed before heading out for the day around Prague.

I always try to write really honest reviews on TA after every hotel visit, and I'm really finding it difficult to find any fault at all with the Hotel Paris. The hotel is absolutely stunning inside and out and the location could not be better. It's located within five minutes of both the centre of the New Town and Old Town and right next door to an underground station for easy access to anywhere in Prague, although we chose to walk everywhere as the City Centre is so compact.

It's worth shopping around for the best prices. We got a really good deal to include "continental breakfast buffet", but were pleasantly surprised to find a very good selection of hot and cold food at breakfast. The whole hotel is very sumptious, and we were delighted to have a balcony in our deluxe double (room 304). We didn't use any of the leisure or internet facilities, neither did was take advantage of the hotel bar, but all looked good.

We are seasoned travellers and have stayed at quite a few hotels in Prague and in Europe, but our budget normally only extends to 4* hotels. Due to the excellent deal, we upgraded and were glad we did. However, I'm very much a trainers and jeans type of girl on City breaks, whereas the clientelle tend to dress very businessy in this hotel, even on a weekend - so I felt a bit of a scruff, but hey, my money is as good as everybody elses!

We got the impression that many guests at this hotel use "executive travel" services to take them to and from the airport - I scoured TA reviews beforehands for tips but couldn't find any, hence I thought I'd leave some advice. The hotel charges 850 crowns each way (about £38 in todays money), whereby you can buy a 75 minute pass for the public transportation system which costs about £3 for two!! From the airport, take the number 100 bus to Zlicin (end of the yellow line). It's then about a dozen or so stops to Namesti Republiky. Take the elevator up and you need the exit straight in front of you (signposted Obec Domu) and the hotel is right there on your right hand side. Couldn't be easier, honestly, and more money to spend on the wonderful Czech beer. Another tip on spending money - we took £75 per day and it was just enough (but we are beer guzzlers!).

We loved the Hotel Paris and will 100% stay there again.

We were impressed by the beauty of the hotel, the high quality of the rooms including the beds, services and the kindness of the employees. The location is excellent in the middele of many splended locations and places of interest.

Whilst we had a standard room which was a bit small this art deco hotel is beautifully appointed and in an old town central location. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff friendly.
