“Okay Hotel”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2013

Very clean hotel, with adequate service. This hotel was a blind booking through Hotwire. For the price, it was very nice and in a wonderful location. Breakfast was not included, and there was a fee for internet in the room. The only free wifi available was in the lobby. Parking at the hotel's garage was extremely expensive, around $35 USD daily. We parked our car at a garage across town for a quarter of the price. Great breakfast cafe right down the road, along with a great restaurant for dinner. Overall it was a nice hotel, just not what we were looking for for this trip.

We stayed at the Hilton last July, prior to a Amawaterways Danube River cruise. We found the location excellent, easy walking distrance from everything, very near Old Town. Also had grocery and pharmacy across street, metro stop close. The service was excellent, including front desk, cafe, and concierge. Room was very well laid out and extremely comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel. And Prague itself is phenomenal!

Room Tip: If you can, upgrade to executive level. Well worth it.

We have recently hosted important meetings for medium sized groups at Hilton Prague Old Town. All the attendees were very happy with the facilities, service, breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and arrangements. Most people were satisfied with the wi-fi connection.

The hotel and event management staff were all prompt and enthusiastic in providing all necessary services.

Recommended for hosting business meetings if you are watching the budget closely.

Room Tip: Street facing rooms are nice.

My husband and I have just returned from a 4 night stay in The Hilton Old Town. We stayed in a normal room and was told at reception we had a king size bed. It wasn't a king size, it was a super king!! Around 10mins after being shown to our room we got a call from reception to see if it was satisfactory for us. House keeping were fantastic with toiletries replaced every day and extra sugar on request. The decor may be slightly outdated but it was kept spotless. The room was very warm and there was a lot of street noise from outside but once you closed the window you could hear very little. We used the air con to cool the room down. Im not bothered by air con humming but I can see how it would be a problem for someone who likes total silence. There was also no noise from outside our room. Carpets and thick doors see to that. The only problem I have with this hotel is there is no free wifi in the rooms. I had to either use my roaming data for internet access or go down to the lobby to use the free Hilton hot spot. I feel for a 5* Hotel that wifi should be freely available. We did not eat or use the spa or gym so I cant comment on those.

The location of The Hilton is perfect. The old town square is close by and The Charles Bridge are all within walking distance. Its such a beautiful city with friendly people. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel and a mini bus will take you to the airport. It leaves every half hour. I will be back to visit Prague again and would hope to stay in The Hilton.

We had booked 3 rooms on the executive floors (fl. 8 + 9), 3 couples.
First of all, the staff was very helpfull, very nice and very welcoming.
Pay the extra 20$ and upgrade to the executive rooms - It will give you access to the lounge room, which is open from 8am to 11pm and there is coffee, tea, little snacks, beer, soda drinks (coca cola, sprite, etc.), 2 PC with a printer and so on.
The room itself is very nice, clean, designed good and warmy.
The location of the hotel is superb, in a good area within a 1 min walk to the palladium mall

I would very recommened this hotel , and especially the executive rooms !

Room Tip: Upgrade to the executive rooms

Stayed here for four nights and can say the staff all throughout were excellent. We took advantage of the Excecutive Lounge of which I would recommend, I did this by checking my booking prior to arriving and seen that there was an option to go on e/standby for upgrade at a reduced cost. Reduced to a very reasonable rate, so check this option out. This Hotel is situated perfect with only a short walk to the Town Square. Great choice of local restaurants, just turn right out of Hotel and about 100 yards to the left about half way down a small market square. great prices. Overall perfect choice for your visit to Prague.

Room Tip: Excecutive room as the extra cost outweighs the return.
