Reviewed 29 June 2014

We stayed for 5 nights in June of 2014. Full service hotel. Attentive and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great location for any old town activities. Good breakfast. Airport shuttle just half a block away. Will stay there again.

Hilton Old Town Prague was a great choice for my family trip to Prague. The location was perfect--walking distance to every city landmark; the staff was highly attentive and proactive trying to make our stay comfortable; the accommodations were spacious (what Americans typically expect from U.S. hotels), very clean and comfortable. I'd highly recommend this hotel if coming to Prague.

Hilton Prague old town is situated in the best possible spot in Prague. Not so far from the airport you will find yourself in the middle of Prague history just by walking distance. There are also couple of Shopping malls nearby and Palladium was a good one among others. You will have no worries to find a place for dinning in the neighborhood either. My room was good, clean and in average size with a good but not very large bathroom. Complimentary tea/coffee making facility was also included. The hotel is an old facility and some amenities are in need of replacement.
The restaurant and bar area were good and I enjoyed breakfast which was quite good. The staff were polite and attentive . I enjoyed my stay and hope you do so!

We stayed in this hotel for a short city break in June 2014. Location is superb, the shuttle bus from the airport literally drops you off 20 metres from front entrance. It is just a short walk to the main central attractions of the old town. As usual for Hiltons the hotel was immaculately clean and maintained, all the staff were really friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay special. We had a room on 5th floor overlooking the main road but it was very quiet due to the road being a cul de sac with no through traffic. Only very small downside was wifi in room was extra cost, but was free in bars dining room and reception, so it was amusing to see virtually everybody at breakfast furiously checking their emails and Facebook etc! Breakfast which was included was excellent as always, bar prices were not cheap but that's to be expected, and still cheaper than the equivalent in London. All in all I would rate it perfect for a short break, and in fact some friends who we met up with were staying at the Intercontinental which had smaller rooms, was further out from the centre of old town, and cost almost twice as much, we paid £595 for 3 nights including flights from Heathrow for 2 people via BA website, a bargain I reckon.

Visited during a heat wave so we welcomed having AC and plenty of cold drinks in the lounge. Rooms and baths spacious on the exec level. Too bad the lounge was populated with loud, spoiled travelers complaining about local culture when they are in this great city! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Don't worry about the very small workout facility, just walk about and enjoy the spectacular neighborhood.

Hotel seems untouched by time. Aside from the flat screen TV everything else seems to be in its original state. Small bathroom and the 8th floor lounge packed with whatever convention busload was in town this week. Downstairs lobby also small and packed with the same crowd. Even hotel cars are run down Skodas while just across the street is another property using nice new MB. Next time, somewhere else.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you very much for your stay and sharing your review with us.

I was truly sorry to hear that your stay was not up to your expectations. Regarding your comments about renovation, I would like to add, that we constantly work on improving of our product and come up with ideas how to increase the comfort of our guests. Last years we opened fully renovated health club and spa area, we also renovated the main entrance to the hotel, as well as replaced all three guests lifts with larger, faster and more comfortable ones. Furthermore we also refurbished our garage. I can assure you that we have further plans for other areas of the hotel..

The entire Hilton Prague Old Town team will be looking forward to hosting you again in the future to show you our progress, and I am sending you my kindest regards,

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and really enjoy it.

It is really close to the main train station so walking to the hotel or taking a taxi is really easy. It is also really close to the main square were the astronomical clock is (about a 10 minutes walk).

The hotel is big, looks really nice and the staff is really friendly. the lobby area is very large and it makes you feel like you are in a New York hotel rather than in Prague. Very cosmopolitan.

I got a room facing the main street (V Celnici), very nice but a little bit small, specially for such large furniture. It did had all you would expect from a Hilton hotel, from a safe big enough to fit a laptop, to coffee/tea facilities and lots of storage space. The main problem I think is the large arm chair and leg rest they put by the window. This, along with the coffee table, floor lamp, desk and t oversized desk chair takes too much space in the room, making it almost imposible to look out the window or moving more freely in the room. The bathroom is big enough, well lit and very clean.

Breakfast (included) at Zinc was great! Buffet style, omelette station, different coffees and hot chocolate, and a lot of fresh and cooked options. The service at the restaurant is great also.

I did not try the swimming pool, but it looks very nice.

Over all, I really enjoyed my stayed at this hotel, I was able to walk around the city from here really easily, and the concierge gave me some very good tips of places to visit and how to move around the city. I would love to go back to Prague and stay here again.
