The Maximilian was the perfectly located hotel in Prague..The value for what they offer was outstanding. Free wife and a staff that took care of you like family. We were very impressed with the extent of their service and it includes free breakfast..Nothing more positive to say than this. You could walk to the downtown/tourist area easily...this place gives you all you want. Would use for for family as well as the two of us ages 76 and 81.

Room Tip: just ask for the best they have. and they will do the best they can...specify whether you want front...

We spent 6 days at the Maximillian in mid June, and couldn't fault it!! All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast crew,Our room on the third floor was large, comfortable and clean, the beds were really comfortable, and the location is superb, just a couple of hundred metres from the old square.
Breakfast options are really extensive, and the lack of scores of guests means that it's a very enjoyable way to start the day. The lounge on the ground floor, with its honour system of drinks, is a really relaxed and friendly way of doing things.
Wifi worked well throughout the hotel.
We would thoroughly recommend the Maximillian for any occasion.

This is a great hotel in a good location. Easy to walk to anywhere you want to go. The rooms are clean, well kept, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The honor system in the "lounge" area is a great concept.

We stayed at the Maximillian at both ends of our trip to Eastern Europe. The room on the third floor of the 'Black House' (there are two buildings connected to make up the hotel) have high ceilings. We had a quiet room facing the back - with views of church spires. The toiletries were Korres and nice. (though they don't supply wash clothes) the bathroom was big and well planned with room to place personal toiletries. The bedroom area is dominated by a large mirror and lots of shelves to place clothes. They even will offer you a goldfish bowl- but we declined itas the tank took up most of the desk area. The breakfast is the star -- with everything you could want! fresh fruits, eggs, bacon, sausages, yoghurts, lots of cereal choices, a big cheese platter and pastries. PLUS, you can order specials as eggs benedict, a fruit smoothie or dessert special. The staff makes your coffee fresh and hot! There are daily newspapers in all languages, too. The hotel also has a library to relax, as well as a lounge with an 'honesty bar' to make drink at all times. The hotel also has a business area with a printer and two computers. We wanted to book a spa treatment at their Zen Spa which looked great-- but it was a booked. The staff is very nice.

We had a great experience in Maximilian hotel. The hotel runs as a boutique hotel that gives a very personal treatment to his guests. All staff are very welcoming. We got a really nice gestures in our room during our stay. The breakfast is the best one we had, and also the ZEN massage SPA is very pampering.
We would definitely come back.
Thank you very much...

It's unfortunatel that we started our Prague vacation with the front desk at the hotel informing us that they are over booked and we are being moved to a different hotel!! I am not pleased and still am not.
I have email confirmation of our stay but yet they let hotel guest extend their stay even though they knew of our reservation. Leaving a really bad impression and we haven't even checked in yet.

Room Tip: Confirm and reconfirm your reservation. You might get your room.
