I have stayed numerous times at Maximilian when in Prague for business. It's a lovely hotel with very friendly staff, excellent beds and a generous breakfast buffet. I have tried every kind of room there from a single room to an awesome suite with view on the church (the suite's really a treat!)... and I've always been satisfied. Maximilian is perfectly located in the city center in a charming neighborhood. PS: If you want company, they lend you a bowl with a goldfish :-)

We had a nice stay here. The rooms may need an upgrade. Breakfast was very nice and service was excellent. Location is very good, only a 5 minute walk to the center of the old town and 5 min to all shopping. Carls bridge is 15 min and the castle 30-40 min. The hotel is located in a quiet street so it was perfect for us.

Just book this hotel. NOW. You won't be sorry.

Amazing staff.
EXCELLENT complementary breakfast (and not just your white bread with cereal type deal -- you can actually ORDER from a menu -- like an egg benedict).
Excellent location.
Close to many great restaurants and cafes.

The room itself might look a little bit outdated but it's clean.

The hotel had a nice, youthfull and relaxed but still professional vibe. The staff was great and helpfull with amazing English skills. We had the superior delux room, which was nice but unfortunately the view from the 1st floor was poor (roof of another building). Luckily the view wasn´t our main interest of our trip to Prague :) Compered to the room decor, the bathroom was a bit worn and boring, but very clean tho. We came to celebrate our honeymoon, which was nicely taken into considerations with bubbly and strawberries in our room. Thank you for that! The room also had good air-conditioning and bed!

The breakfast was abundant with lots of options to choose from. Also the breakfast staff was easy-going and friendly.

Great two nigh stay all in all. I can recommend Maximilian to all who are looking for a trendy, good quality hotel with great location!

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, unbeatable location, strong WiFi, clean accommodations. Rooms could use updating with light fixtures, but let's be honest, everything else was fantastic.

Loved this hotel! Our flight from the U.S. was delayed by 16 hours, so we called ahead to let the hotel know we would be arriving in the wee hours... and they were cheerfully welcoming when we arrived at 3 a.m. We had a room for three adults - It was not large, but still very comfortable, with ample storage. We had requested a quiet room and received it. And then there was breakfast: Wonderful. Everything fresh, many choices, friendly staff... Plus cold drinks and cookies at the door when returning from a hot day of touring. And of course, coffee and cake in the afternoon. The location also is great -- quiet at the hotel, but incredibly close to the old square. Would absolutely stay again.

Good location just a 5 + minute walk to the town square. We were on the sixth floor on the black side (label on elevator). This room is not handicapped accessible, as you took the elevator to the 5th floor & had to walk up to the 6th floor. The size of the room was adequate but on the small size. For the quality of the hotel I was surprised that the towels in several occasions had holes in them or we're fraying in addition to being small and very thin. Coffee, tea and the honor bar was available all day in the lounge. Flavored waters were also available in the lobby (nice touch). The lobby staff were very friendly and quite helpful with information and assistance, such as lending us an additional umbrella when it was raining. Breakfast was one of the better ones we've encountered in some time. In additions to cooked to order
eggs, pancake etc. there was a large selection of food on the buffet, including smoked fish, meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, fruit, pastries, breads etc.
