“Lovely time”
Reviewed 3 March 2014

Just got back from a 4 day stay at this hotel. We enjoyed being there. Everyone was v friendly and helpful. Rooms good and breakfast excellent. Great location 5 mins from old town square.
It was my wifes birthday and we were given a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine which was a nice touch.
Rooms were a bit hot but overall good.

Room Tip: On high floor at back so no noise

A trip into the centre of town is 630kr which is a reasonable price, arriving at the hotel which was located in a small picturesque cobblestoned square. Greeted by a porter who was polite and welcoming was very pleasant. The hotel room was comfortable and offered good amenities, the internet wifi is free and easy to use. A bath had a shower within, a safe for your valuables. The breakfast had plenty to offer a wide range of travellers, this was tasty, with a small walk to the start of many sights this is a hotel i would recommend to all.

Room Tip: Having experienced the room on level 2 i am sure that most will be pleasant.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel during the 3rd week of January. We booked through British airways holidays and selected this hotel by trip advisor reviews, we were not dissapointed. We didn't eat in the hotels resteraunt other than for the excellent buffet breakfast, which covered everything, even al la carte if required at a slight charge.
Our room was lovely with a town view, over cobbled streets. The ammenities were adequate with bath robes and slippers and a room safe at no charge. The Wifi in the hotel was also free.
The hotel is situated right in the centre of the old town and a reasonable short walk to most of the famous attractions, ie Charles bridge in about 10 mins. The staff were friendly and courteous especially housekeeping.
We would definitely visit Prague again and book this hotel.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 2nd floor at the front, but the double glazing completely eliminates any road no...

We stayed in an Executive Twin Double room for 5 nights in December 2012.

The rate was EUR170 per night and included a welcome fruit tray, an in-room Nespresso machine, chocolates, roses, and breakfast every day.
Our room was located on the 7th floor of the hotel and unexpectedly included a large terrace with a view over the old town. A great surprise! I would try to book this room again if returning to Prague and highly recommend others try to secure it.

The room was large enough with a comfy bed, writing desk and armchair, modern bathroom, French doors to a window and another door to the patio. The view over Prague from the patio was excellent and we could easily see the nearby Tyn church and Prague castle further in the distance during the day. Breakfast included a decent buffet assortment of continental breakfast items – cereals, bread, fruit & yoghurt, then you could also order cooked items off a menu containing about 6 choices. This was also complimentary, changed every day and had items such as omelettes, French toast and eggs Benedict. The English translation made us laugh sometimes – like with the boiled eggs which translated to “Boiled eggs up your request”. Breakfast also included juice, tea & coffee.

The hotel location was perfect, just a short stroll down a pretty cobbled street lined by ubiquitous bohemian crystal shops to the main town square of Prague (Staromestske namesti). Here you will find the tower with the famous Astronomical Clock and a few streets further on the Charles Bridge across the Valtva river The old town of Prague is fairly compact, making it easy to walk almost anywhere you want to go. The underground train has stations within the old city too but we only used this once.
There are many sites to see and things to do in Prague. The obvious one is the Prague castle (the larges castle complex in the world), another less touristy option is a visit to the Holocaust memorial in the Jewish museum at the Pinkas synagogue. The internal walls of the memorial are covered with the names of the 80,000 Bohemian and Moravian Jews who perished during WWII. Very moving.

Prague is beautiful and boasts a number of extremely old buildings (back to the 14th century), as by some miracle the old town managed to escape extensive bombing during WWII. Our visit was during winter for the Christmas markets, and these were lovely, with lots of Czech glass ornaments being sold plus many other things including yummy trdelnik donuts. I’d love to visit Prague again in a different season so I could visit more castles outside of the city (many are closed during winter).

Loved Prague and loved this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with it's own patio. Great views over the old town!

This is the most cozy and quiet hotel with perfect location. As we asked for high floor, we had nice view, which is not often for a hotel in old town. Staff is very nice and helpfull. A problem with heating was solved very quickly and with dozens of apologies for inconvenience.
Although room's interior is rather plain, but the room itself was spacious and very clean, furniture was in good condition as well as all equipment. It was a pleasure to find a compliment fruit plate as a welcome present. Reception supported us with reservation of city tour, private guide and tickets to Opera. It's a pity that hotel staff is not responsible for the weather :)) It woudln't be so cold if they could manage it!

Room Tip: Higher floor room is very quiet and with a good view!

Really 5 stars hotel. Perfect location, beautiful view, kind staff, delicious breakfast, amazing rooms. Ask staff to show you a historical ballroom which is underground. It is famous from many movies and is really interesting. I recommend the hotel very much.
