We were there for two nights and while we found it exceptionally comfortable and the service close to perfect, I was left wondering if even that justified the enormous cost. I suppose it did. The location is excellent, the concierge set us up with a extremely knowledgeable and charming guide, but the dining room, bar area that overlooks the river was closed for renovation, which is what I think would've put the experience over the top.

When you stay at the Four Seasons, you always have high expectations. When you come to the property in Prague, you'll leave with those expectations exceeded. The location, the staff, the rooms, and the food are all a bit better than outstanding.

Make sure to use the Four Seasons transportation from either the airport or the train station. It is extremely reasonable. We came by train, our driver met us on the platform, whisked us through the station to a Mercedes parked just outside. He gave us a great little tour on the way to the hotel and seemed eager to ensure our stay got off with the proper setting of the Prague story. From the train station to the room was less than 20 minutes.

In Prague, there is the Four Seasons and a bunch of other hotels wrestling for second place.

An elegant place with the best hotel location in Prague - it was our 5th trip in the last 18 years and the best place we've stayed at.

This addition to Prague’s short list of luxury hotels is its most impressive. Located in an imposing position on the banks of the Vltava River right next to Charles Bridge, the Four Seasons provides an elegant base for exploring Old Town and enjoying the symphonies at the nearby Rudolfinum, while taking in a wonderful panoramic view of Prague Castle across the river. Its executive suites and guest rooms are nicely appointed. The best have sweeping views and sunken marble tubs. In the tasteful and lower-priced Art Nouveau wing, comfortable doubles can be booked for less than $300, but the street-side views are much less impressive. All rooms are fitted with fine solid wood furniture, some with antique pieces, others with more modern avant-garde accents.

This was our 2nd trip to the FS Prague and it was as good the 2nd time as the 1st.

The hotel is located within a 5 minute walk from most of the major Old Town sites and Charles Bridge so that you can tour at your leisure.

We stayed at the hotel over Christmas and there were many traditional touches in the hotel that added to the charm of the city - hot mulled wine and chestnuts in the lobby, Vanocka (Czech Christmas bread) in the room.

The staff are super attentive and friendly.

One restaurant that was near the hotel that we and the kids really liked was Marina Grosseto Ristorante, which is very close to the hotel.

Truly smack in the middle of things. 5 minute walk to Astrolab Clocktower plaza. Lots of folks gather for the clock striking the hour. Aside for the main boulevards the streets wind and intersect oddly. It is easy to get turned around if you don't have a map-if ancient architecture is your thing then you are right at home. 11th Century St. Vitus Cathedral is a must (lots of video on youtube). English is widely spoken in the centre of the city from the Conceirge at the hotel to the Bratwurst vendor in the plaza.
Hotel is Fours Seasons standard impeccible service-but pricey. Specials or discounts aside expect 300 Euro for Standard King- Corner Suites in the 1000 Euro range. Overall, prices have risen substantially over the last decade in all sectors.
Weather in December was in the +9C range but very very damp. I think Prague can be part of a package of countries you'll visit in Europe, not a sole destination.

Room Tip: Corner suite/king room facing river

Stayed at this hotel over the new year. Everything was as requested (6 of us in two interconnecting rooms) with all the usuall Four Seasons extra touches (bedtime stories for the kids etc etc). The new year celebration was really great and the food delicious. The staff was always very helpful. The location of the hotel was great for sightseeing and shopping.
