Absolut must see when in Prague and it is worth to pay the extra money to visit the whole cathedral as well as the royal tombs. You can also climb the tower to get great views.
Even better with either audio or real guide.
And yes, there s no heating inside, unlike in some of the Austrian churches

“Best of Prague”

So much to see. Beautiful church. A must see! The St Wencelas Chapel is lovely. Get the audio guide for castle and church. Well worth it. We were there in December and it was cold in the church so bundle up.

“Grand and spectacular!”

Entry is free, however, full access requires payment. Be sure to remove your hat on entry! Situated in the grounds of the castle area, which is a steep climb from the Charles bridge up the cobbled streets.

“Beautiful and huge”

We hired a 1 hour guide to take us through St. Vitus, which was helpful for the enormity of the church and a good value, considering that you do have to pay. The church is ripe in history and some of the current appointments are incredibly ornate and lovely to look at. I especially enjoyed the underground section, where you can see the original church outline, the basilica, and today's structure.

Absolutely stunning interior! The outside is pretty lovely too, but you must see it from the inside. So much bling!
