“great location”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

The staff was very friendly the rooms comfortable although a little standard but clean and modern. The location is perfect to get around anywhere in the city. The breakfast was nice with a good selection. All in all a good hotel experience

We stayed in this Hotel for 5 day and thought it was perfect. Our room despite other reviews HAD AIR CONDITIONING and added bonus which we had not expected. We were greeted upon arrival by very friendly staff that spoke excellent English. Furthermore our room was immaculate and was then cleaned to that standard EVERY DAY! Breakfast was great had so many options; cereals/fruit/yoghurt/ meats/cheeses/breads/eggs etc and was tasty and fresh.

I also thought the hotel was in an excellent location. At the end of the road was a tram stop (Lipanska No 9) which took you straight into the Wencelas Square and very near to the Old Town, it took around ten minutes. Trams were so frequent we never waited, and travel is cheap.

Overall this hotel was superb, very good value for money, comfortable and convenient.

The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Would DEFINITELY reccomend and stay again.

Nothing to complain! Had a great stay. Quiet and good location. 2 Stops from the Main Railway Station and 4 from the City Center. Good and friendly staff members. Best breakfast, free wifi, sauna etc etc... Room was really hot but was a Fan in the room, so it wasnt that bad! Recomended...

We travelled to and from Prague by train and this hotel was in a really good spot in this regard, since it is only 2 tram stops away from the main train station. It a great place for sightseeing: the city centre is 4 stops away and you just have to change once to an other tram line to reach the castle. And you have a subway station nearby (1 tram stop). Easy access if you are a public transport person. (The real advantage is at the end of long day when your feet are killing you). (Would not recommend it if you are impaired in your movements in any way: there is a bit uphill walk from the tram stop to the hotel.)
The staff is great, everyone we talked to spoke very good English and was really helpful. Breakfast is served from 7-10, and has a good selection of food. Everything was promptly refilled if necessary. (The orange and apple juice is from a machine and those could be better.)
We had a room on the street side on the 4th floor. The room was nice, clean. Others complained about the noise (street and the bell of the nearby church). I could imagine that with an open window those could be problematic. (There no AC in the room and the church bell tolls every 15 minutes even during the night and that is simply wrong.) We had good weather and the windows were shut: we were never woken up by anything.

Room Tip: If you go in the summer try to get in a room that faces the back side of the hotel.

There was a strange smell all over the hotel. There was no air conditioning and the second floor rooms were real saunas during the night. There were good breakfasts with a good variety of choices. The employees were really helpful and they spoke decent English. The room was clean but I don't think any of the rooms have a good view since the hotel is located between equally tall buildings.

The room was hot and hotter than outside that is - and for Prague in August that says a bit. The fridge/mini-bar struggled to keep up and did so by increasing the noise level and the heat in the room. Likely that was a contributing factor to my interrupted sleep.
The main surfaces were tidy, but looking to most top corners spiderwebs seemed to have been kept intact for while.
The breakfast was all but impressing. The bred was dry, the eggs overboiled and the dish of cheese had melted together to one decorative lump.

I had expected better for the price, luckily I was only staying one night.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel.

Stayed here for 6 nights was really quiet! Rooms were clean and breakfast was really nice! Only bad bit was it was 37 deg when we were there and no air con! There was a fan in room but it didn't help much! Not the hotels fault! Only 9 tram stops from the bridge beside castle! Would come back thank you!
