My husband and me are very dissapointed about the quality of this so-called 4*hotel. It's a trickery. Our room was dirty, the towels were off-white instead of white an smelled of vinegar. The toilett and the bath were separated and both stank of sewage. The curtain in the bath was dirty. The only positive thing was breakfast in a very beutiful theatre room. The hotel stuff was not friendly. Anyway the homepage of this hotel doesn't correspond the real living conditions.

Lovely hotel which was spotlessly clean. Fair breakfast for the price and excellent transport links in to the centre. I've stayed in Prague 10 times and this is the best hotel in the Zizkov area. If you don't mind catching the tram into town, save some money and stay here. Tram stop less than 100 meters.

Rooms are quite spacious with ensuite bathrooms, wardrobes, free safes, tv and tea and coffee. They also have a minibar which is not badly priced. Loads of bars and restaurants nearby, and helpful reception staff.

The hotel is well situated. It is very close to a tram stop which is only a few stops away from the many city central square. From the outside, the hotel looks rather shabby and not at all like you would expect a 4* star establishment to be. The lobby area is small and awkward and I just got the general impression that I was in a hostel not a hotel. There are several floors with 2 small elevators in operation.

Rooms are nice looking and clean and have a lot of amenities (which perhaps got it the 4*s) for example, a kettle, tea/coffee, mini-fridge with some drinks, lamps, a blow-dryer, a TV etc. but the rooms themselves weren't very big. They are tidied daily and fresh towels are provided in the bathroom. Storage space is good too. The windows were rather small though. The best thing about the rooms is that the beds are extremely comfortable. I would say that the walls are quite thin too because we often heard noise from the room on the floor above us.

With regards to food, breakfast has a lot of options from pastries to fruits to eggs and sausage and hot and cold drinks and you are welcome to have as much as you like. Dinner on the other hand was horrible!! The first day we had very dry chicken and potatoes served by a not so pleasant young boy. The following day was worse- the meal was pork (the only option) which I couldn't eat! Others couldn't either because it tasted awful so I'm told. Another thing is that if you opt for having dinner there, drinks aren't included.

Staff are friendly and are willing to help you with regards to transport questions, money exchange and whatever else. They speak a variety of languages too. There are various leaflets and brochures available also.

Overall not a bad experience but the hotel's quality needs to be revised, I was very disappointed. I think it is more like a 3* hotel.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, only 3 tram stops from Main Train station (Hlavni Nadrazi), which is further 2 mins walk from Museum. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was an interesting shape, but clean, the bed was comfortable. There were no slippers/dressing gown in the room, which was odd for 4* hotel. The breakfast choice was poor, no selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The hotel is in a residential area, there was not many restaurants to choose, though there are plenty of fast food places.

My husband and I stayed here in October. The location was good, really close to the tram stop. Trams are very regular to and from the city and travel is cheap. The setting of the hotel is really lovely and it is well presented. Our room was small but adequate and the bathroom was of a good standard. Breakfast was all you could need and in the converted theatre. However sometimes there were peas, carrots and green beans as part of the hot breakfast which we found a little odd! The only thing spoiling this hotel is the large number of school groups constantly streaming through the hotel. The groups were big and full of teenagers. They managed to take over the breakfast room, the foyer (where you had to climb over the luggage to get out of the lift and push your way through the groups). They were also quite loud at nights, we had to go out into the corridors and shout at them at 2am after listening to them talk for two hours. Maybe we picked the wrong week and it was half term for a lot of schools. The hotel was very good value for money and maybe if we had stayed on a different week we would have had a different experience as other reviewers have stated how quiet the hotel was.

Really nice 4 stars hotel, it has everything that you need. To me as a packpacker was a very good experience, It could be considerer to 3 stars but it has 4. it is really close from the main train station, just 3 trams stops away and almost same distance from the bus station. 10 minutes away from down town using the Tram. If you are looking for a nice and cheap place to stay, come here. If you are looking for a fancy place, do not.
