“Nice Hotel”
Reviewed 5 June 2012

Stayed here with friends on a weekend trip to Prague.

Reception staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in.

Free Wifi in the reception area.

Great buffet breakfast.

Will be back in Prague again and will stay in this hotel when I do.

The hotel is not too far from the city center and a taxi costs about €4.
Make sure to ask how much the taxi will cost before you get it as one taxi tried to charge us alot more for a return journey.

I chose Hotel Belvedere on my business trip to Prague and I was totally satisfied! I only stayed for 3 nights and my schedule was very busy, filled up with lots of tedious meetings and never-ending congresses as u can imagine.
But it was great to come back to the relaxing environment of my spacious hotel room, enjoy the hot bath and more importantly have a sound sleep in one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The hotel mini-bar was also full of good stuff and I absolutely loved having my own tea kettle and a cup of fresh tea before going to bed. The reception staff was very friendly, everyone spoke English and was always happy to assist with any enquiries. I would definitely come back into hotel Belvedere on my next trip, hopefully having more time to see this beautiful city and enjoy the pleasant hotel ambience.

Hotel was more like a 3 star but it was good value, comfortable, clean and within walking distance of the centre of Prague. The walk through the park is nice. Breakfast was ok and had a decent variety. There is only free wifi in the lobby - paid for wifi in the rooms. For the price we paid we would stay here again. Very close to the exhibition centre if you're going to an expo or something during your stay - unbeknownst to us until our taxi driver told us, the Czech Beer Fest was on during our stay which made for a fun surprise and very easy to get back to the hotel afterwards.

Room Tip: Maids come through rather early so put a do not distrub sign on your door if you've had a late n...

I've stayed in the hotel for a couple of nights and had there very pleasant and good rest in a deepest and softest bed, I've ever seen. In the room I found many addition facilities, I needed: teapot, pockets of free tea, coffee, sugar, good mini-bar, good soap in the bathroom, hairdryer, TV-set with good number of different channels and safe-box. Can't say, that the hotel is very close to center (if you would like to reach the center and main places of interest on foot it will take you about 30-40 minutes) but tram and metro stations are very close. There are great parks not far from the hotel. On of them is on the top of the hill, so you can walk there and enjoy the beautiful sights of Prague and the river Vltava behind. Pleasant staff is very helpful. You can find also very informative stand with entertainment program you can chose in Prague. The only disadvantage I've noticed is Wi-Fi that you can find only in the lobby-bar on the ground-floor. It will be better to have Wi-Fi in the room. Breakfast is enough good for me. Czech "rohlíky" (bagels) is the tastiest food!!! But I wish the hotel had more fruit for breakfast.

We stayed only for one night and it was enough.
The hotel was very clean, the reception was great and the staff very friendly. We had a room on the 5th floor, big and with 2 windows. The room was OK but we had no air-con, the street was very loud (people, cars and tram), the room was extremelly hot, the pillows were very uncomfortable and the bed was very poor. The hotel is nice but we don't recommend it if you are planning to have a nice sleep.

Belvedere Hotel is near to everything you want to se in Prag. Transportation is just outside the hotel, so you can reach the Charles Bridge in about 20 minutes. The food at the hotel is good, and the breakfast buffet is very big.

I chose this hotel is not by chance, it seemed to me that he is well located and affordable. And I was right, its location - the best, keep a brisk pace of about 20-25 minutes to the main points, to go about 15 minutes to go may be on the subway from the station Vltavska (approximately 400 meters) or go to the center of several stops on the tram number 26, 14. But you can walk and stroll through the park. I had had room 8E (for two) and 421 (single), spacious 8E as a 4 *, bath and toilet are separate, very spacious, view of the main street with a tram, a little noisy, but with free Wi-Fi (which is important , for a number of reception). Free internet only there. Rooms all clean every day, clean and complete, the bed comfortable and large, the street was 6 C, but the room was warm, there is a safe, liquid soap and shampoo, internal telephone, hair dryer, kettle, free tea, coffee, variety of coverage, everything works, fridge is equipped with drinks and chocolate (for a fee), refrigerator installed in the cabinet, the TV has 14 channels in various European languages, working on magnetic door keys, as well as the entrance to the floor of the "E" through the key, breakfast runs from 7 in the morning, breakfast is good, includes: salad, cheese, ham, baked goods, tea, coffee, juice, fruit, sausages, yogurt. However, there is rice, and variety of this table is different, and if you're in the hotel for days, then the table can you just get bored. If in a hurry early in the morning, then order a packed lunch in advance, but a very meager rations. Staff is multilingual, English night, day in Russian, and welcomes all questions are answered, there is a lot of reference material. There are two new elevators. Room number 421 was a 3 * and distinguished modesty and quiet, (and if only the number of German students is not funny)). This property is sufficient quiet rooms because the window of his leave in three different streets, and even into the yard. Dinner is not here, but there is only a bar. The choice of a number of cafeterias are not large, for example, on the ground floor there is a Japanese restaurant, and if you go 300 meters along the path of the tram up and have a great pizza Riccardo, and then a cheap supermarket Bill, post office, a nice park and a museum of art. Do not expect much here, as the hotel is only 3 *. I recommend, there is good value for quality and price.
