well were do i start ?
its crap, now i have stayed in some hotels, but this is by far the worst.
we arrived at 10.30ish, and our room was not ready, thats ok as its normal to check in around 2pm.
far be it for me to complain, but is it ok to be meet by the receptionist smelling of alcohol ? at 2pm in the afternoon.
now the room, nice king sized bed and 2 single duvets ? i asked the reception can it be changed ? no !
TV , 5 channels, and only 1 english speaking channel, BBC news !
alarm clock, could not set the thing.
room safe, instructions were the wrong ones so that was a wast of time,
the rest of the room was ok,
breakfast, cold not worth having,
there is no bar no restuarant no room services, and a coffee machine in the lobby, along with a cold drinks machine.

Dear guest,

We would like to inform you that it is totally excluded to smell an alcohol from receptionist because of her religion! It is an insult to this woman.
The non stop refreshment point is next to the restaurant. It is excluded that a guest does not notice it.
Two duvets are used as standard in the whole Czech Republic. If you are used to sleep under more duvets, we could provide you any extra which we have available. But you did not ask for that.
Breakfast is continuously supervised by the supervisor. The kitchen is next to the restaurant, so everything is always in the given standard. If you had any special wish, the waiter would surely manage it for you. Breakfast could be done specially for you. We are equipped for that.
This review is biased and we refuse it.

I was a bit worried about staying here after reading reviews, but I thought for the price we paid I couldn't complain too much. I was pleased that my worries were unfounded.
On check-in the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had to pay a tourist type tax thing for each night we stayed but the cost wasn't very much. A few of us had arrived at the same time for check-in, so instead of waiting in a long queue, we were given paperwork to fill in whilst seated at a table, this sped things up so much more.
I was pleasantly surprised by our room. The bed was comfy and clean with a lovely thick duvet. The only downside was that the room was very warm, I managed to get one of the radiators turned off. We were overlooking the road so there was some noise, but not unbearable.
The bathroom had a shower over the bath, the bath was quite high to step into. The bath is a half size one. Hairdryer in the bathroom. We had lovely warm showers our whole stay.
Breakfast on the whole was ok, but it can be a bit chaotic. There isn't many tables so can be quite squashed. Simple things like glasses and bowls weren't restocked quickly, but if you asked the staff they did bring them.
The hotel is a 15 min walk to the old town square which is a must to visit! It's also close to a lovely shopping centre. There is a great Indian beside the hotel called the 2 brothers, had an excellent meal there.

Located in a good area. Breakfast is basic but adequate. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you don't want don't stay on the road side there is some
deliveries that happen at all hours it is very noisy we asked to move rooms but they said there were no vaca vacant rooms on the other side.

Stayed here for three nights from 18th - 21st February. Our room was lovely and clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, with a variety of cereals and fruit. On arrival we were shown to our rooms and later wanted some snacks as we had arrived around 10pm, we went to the vending machines in the foyer, however, the concierge told us there was a 24 hour shop around the corner, and he took us to the shop.
The hotel itself is about 12 minute walk from Wenceslas Square, a nice place for shopping, although there is the Palladium shopping centre on the way there which is very nice.
The Metro is also a 5 min walk from the hotel and great if you want to go to the Zoo, yes, there is a Zoo in Prague and it’s fantastic, it’s very big so be prepared for lots of walking. To get thee use the M etro (32 Kronos) get off at a place called Holesvice and then catch a 112 bus also 32 krona and it takes you right to the Zoo entrance. For an adult the Zoo costs 200 CZK around £7.00.
We found the hotel a nice place to stay and is close to shopping and restaurants, there is a nice one called Kotleta in Namesti Republicky again around a 10 min walk from the hotel.
I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again.

Room tip: Our room was at the back of the hotel on the 5 th floor, we found it quiet enough.

A great value hotel. Room was clean and pleasant, staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was fine and the other guests amiable. The location was spot on too.
Considering what we paid to stay here, I have no idea what people are moaning about in some of these reviews.
I have paid much more for much less. I highly recommend
