“Pleasant stay just a few negatives”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2012

Lovely hotel that's only 2 stops on the metro from the main tourist area.
Station just outside hotel.
I stayed in a executive room. Room spacious clean bathrobes slippers and nice flat screen tv.
The executive lounge was nice and had a good array of drinks and canapés in the evenings and breakfast.
Booze was plenty full between 6-8pm.
We used the pool that was nice and relaxing with a great view.
Now the negatives......
The hotel was very hot. Room was roasting even with the window open. Well can only open it slightly. The executive lounge was roasting too.
There was only about 3 English channels and they were only news channels. Watching news for 3 days running becomes very repetitive. Needs at least some other English channels.
The executive rooms for some reason still not been renovated.
Bathroom needs a refurb urgently. Having a shower was bit of a nightmare. Very small and I am a slim guy, constantly banging my arms against the metal bar on wall.

The executive lounge had the same snacks 3 nights running. Only soup was the hot snack and no sweet snacks for afters. Would be nice to have a few other small hot canapés and some small desserts.
The soft drinks need to be in a fridge. Hot room temperature drinks are not pleasant.

We did enjoy our stay and would recommend it but take a book to read and do complain if your room is too hot.

Hotel Corinthia could need refreshment.
However, the serviceminded staff and the place close to Metro makes the hotel worth staying in. The view from the rooms (we were in 12th floor out of 24) was fine. The area is somewhat boring at evening time.
The pricing of beers, wine and alcohol are more than high compared to normal city pricing. The restaurant food very average and rawmaterials do not seem to be the best of choice!
I would recommend staying in a smaller hotel closer to the centre if visiting Prague.

Room Tip: Ask for a room as high up as possible and with city view.

Really enjoyed our stay here - whilst the reception was very busy when we arrived Martin on the desk was very welcoming & helpful & informative - great first impression. The room lived up to our expectations - and the housekeeping ladies were considerate & efficient. Have to agree with though with the tempramental water temperature ! The spa & beauty salon was was lovely - and the again very friendly & professional staff ( tried 90 min. pedicure & thai massage + sauna /pool etc.) We had a half board package - so did not experience any unexpected costs...
Breakfast super, and dinner at the Grill pleasant. But our biggest thanks have to go to Jakub & and his great team, especially Thomáz & Clára (aka Batman, Robin & Batgirl) from the Blue Note bar - for making our stay so much fun - great service - keep up the good work guys!

We came early to the hotel, around 11:00 AM and begun our check in right away. Since we had a problem in registration the hotel management upgraded our stay with no problems. Later the concierge were very helpful and nice.

We stayed at the 23rd floor so it had a free access to the spa. The Spa had 2 sets of wet and dry sauna, a heated swimming pool and massage facilities. Coming to spa we were given a robe, a big towel and a sauna sheet for the sauna is "a natural" entrance.

The beds are great, nice bathrooms that had a radio built in for the pleasant stay. Were clean rooms.

The breakfast is great, had a variety of sausages, eggs, carbs, a salad bar, cereal bar and pastries bar. Nice juice bar and coffee on demand by the waitress. The staff is very nice.

The lobby is big and has 3 restaurants. Very nice bar with reasonable prices on the menu. The staff is very nice.

The room service has reasonable prices, and we had a lovely dinner at the room. The waiter disappeared once we signed the voucher and we were later charged on the hotel bill.

There is no free WiFi in the hotel but you could buy a 10/20 USD prepaid internet SIM card at any Vodafone/O2 kiosk and access the internet anywhere with 3G. Most of modern phones can host an access point for your laptop.

The hotel has "a private" metro station "Vishegrad" 50 meter away from the entrance that is 2 metro stops away from the center "Muzeum" station it is only a two minute ride.

Room Tip: 23rd floor and up, grant free access to the spa. Higher rooms has better view of the town. Metro br...

I first stayed at this hotel over 8 years ago on a business trip to Prague, and I continue to use it 2/3 times a year when I am back in the City for business. The rooms are clean with fantastic views across the city. Staff are friendly and are very accomodating to requests. The leisure facilities are small, yet more than adequate, especially the swimming pool on the top floor where you can swim and take in the views over the city. Am in Prague again this Thursday, and yes, I am staying here. The hotel limousine service is not overly priced either for airport runs.

The good things- breakfast was plentiful and varied but you have to pay more for fresh juice and proper coffee.
Water temperature varies constantly so you are scalded or freeze every 10 seconds.
Bathroom make up mirror was covered in dust.
Drinks are an outrageous price.
Some reception staff are charming, others not so.
It's obviously a conference hotel and serves its purpose if you are in Prague for that reason.
